Now don’t get me wrong, I did enjoy this book for the most part. I’ve grown to love the cast of characters of this series and I enjoy them more with each book. But one main thing bothered me about this book. The new character they introduced just accepted it too easily. She didn’t stumble upon it by accident, she was just told and went along with it. It just seemed too easy and put off my enjoyment of the story a bit.

Each & every book is as good as the last, if not better!
These books are so comforting to me. Diving into them, I always get a sweet love story, but of course, not without some dramatic conflict going on. (I just love that while we get conflict for the plot, it doesn't overtake the romance in the story!)
This book is one of my favorites so far, hence the five star rating. It was a bit different than the previous books. I don't want to spoil anything, but we get a bit of both present day and the past, which I loved.
Callum and Sydney's romance was sweet, charming, fun to read and different!
I loved the ending and what it eluded to for the next book!

Book 6 of Morna’s Legacy ends with Callum MacCristy returning to Cagair castle in 1649 to smell smoke. Book 7, Love Beyond Belief find him running to find the castle on fire, his friend stabbed and a baby crying in a cottage that is also on fire. Running to save the baby, he almost dies himself from smoke inhalation and a burn on his leg. Collapsing with the baby he sees a woman who appears to be calling down rain to put the fire out.
The process of rebuilding the castle brings the Morna’s Legacy cast of characters (both from the past and present) to help. Working on the castle by day in 1649, they come forward to the modern day at night. Time travel takes place using a secret stairway. Almost like an escalator at the mall – you go down the stairs in the past and come up in the present/future.
Previous books have found modern day women going into the past to meet handsome Scottish warriors as loving husbands. In a bit of a turn, this book finds the handsome Scot coming in to the future (to him) to find his true love. He had “dreamed” about her but now she shows up as a real woman who has been hired to cook for the guests at the current Cagair castle which is planned as an inn. Unfortunately, no one is quite sure how she received the email hiring her since it wasn’t written.
Once again, this book tells a delightful tale of a magical place where past and present meet for people to find love. In the past, Callum must find out who tried to burn his castle and kill the parents of the small baby that he managed t save. Additionally, Morna (for the first time) seems worried about another witch and her powers.
As the 7th book in the series, I found it fit well with the previous 6 books but I don’t think it is a book that could be easily read on its own. Even I had to go back and reread book 6 to refamiliarize myself with the characters.
If you enjoy Highlander romances and time travel stories this is the best of both worlds and I would highly recommend the entire series.

I'm so in love with this series. It just turned out to be so very good and this addition was no different. Callum and Sydney's story was awesome and funny. She was very strong willed compared to his sweet nature, they just fit.
Funny enough this started out with just the Conall's knowing about the magic but now so many people know about it that I'm surprised no one has used it for evil.
In any case this was a nice, easily paced read, with a sad and unfortunate loss that I did not see coming, which really sucked ass!!

I love this series but this book was my least favorite. It felt rushed. At the start, the two characters come together too suddenly. Then, at the end when it finally got interesting, it was suddenly over. This was almost a DNF for me, actually. I’m glad I finished because there were some interesting tidbits in the last few chapters when it got interesting.

Outstanding
The story was excellent. While the very well written storyline flowed easily from chapter to chapter, I enjoyed the development of the new characters. Ms Claire has a unique way of bringing her books to life. I find myself not wanting to put her books down once I start reading. I strongly recommend this book as a continuation in the series.

Old & new unite
This is a time travel romance where the people can move easily back & forth in time. The romance is slow with a bit of chemistry but not hot. The story was ok, but nothing that grabs your interest and makes you not want to put the book down. Average story at best.

Ugh!
Morna went from witch to bitch in this one. I don’t even know how the heroine was able to get past being drugged and harassed.
There also was no chemistry whatsoever between the couple. It was more of an insta lust than anything else. Plus we were not even really shown the lust/love just told about it. The characters and story were just so flat. The only ones I really cared about here Jerry and Grier (and that was before we even knew who or what Grier was).
Plus don’t even get me started on bringing a whole 1600s village through to the 2000s for a one night party. I’m willing to suspend my disbelief for time travel but that was waaaaaay too much. They would have been burning someone at the stake before 100+ towns’ folk would venture forward four centuries.
This book just did not have the care and story the previous works had.
I finished this the night before Bethany Claire sent out her email pushing back the release of her newest book and she cited that exact reasons that were problems with this book, I only wish she’d decided this years ago. But I hope her next book is better for her and her fans, I unfortunately won’t be reading any more of the Morna series. I do hope she eventually writes the series she teased a few years ago, I’d love to give her another chance but this series has run its course.

This one is another entertaining story in the author's Scottish time travel series. In this one, the hero Callum, with the help of male characters from the previous books and others from his castle/territory in the past, is working to repair his 17th century castle after an arson fire by a dangerous enemy. He and the others work on the 17th century version of the castle by day and time travel to the modern version of the same castle by night. In the 2lst century he meets Sydney, an American woman who's been hired as the castle chef. This love story is basic and straightforward, but also contains elements of danger, murder, and some confusion about whether certain secondary characters are friend or foe. Since past characters from previous books are part of the story, it's helpful to be reading the books in order.

I started reading Bethany's first book in this series and I haven't stopped. I'll be reading each successive book until I've read every one she's written. Her stories are like a web. You pull at one string and you can't stop. They are well written, without too much serial content, I'd rather leave those parts to my own imagination. But the characters in the next book add new links that keep expanding the stories. I'm hooked!

Great Scottish time-travel!
Morna’s Legacy series is a tremendously entertaining series with characters that have stolen my attention from the real world many times. Some of them have stolen my heart, as well. Each episode is filled with excitement, laughter, joy and romance. I’m already looking forward to the next book which I plan to acquire in just a minute, enjoy!

Love Beyond Belief book Seven by Bethany Claire
Five stars..Jerry and his witch of a wife Morna have flaws..They have human tendencies to be human..You can either hate her or not..Husband shows his character, Jerry can lean on others besides his wife..Not sure it was a great storyline but it works for the final conclusion the lay work for the final book of the series.

Callum's Story
This is such a heartfelt story. Callum is magnificent and his journey with Norma is very interesting. There was a particular scene when Orick and Adwen speak about not waiting for the perfect moment with love. It was awesome because it is so rare to find an example with make characters - very insightful.

Great characters and lovely premise
This was a great story! Time travel was interesting and fun. The story didn’t go too deep and was fairly predictable, but thoroughly enjoyable with the storyline and cast of characters. Set in Scotland and mixed with old Scottish and modern English, it was very entertaining. Recommended if you’re looking for a light read.

Overall I enjoyed this book, but there were a few things that bothered me. My biggest problem was Morna. In this book she was a pain in the ass. She was so annoying and close minded. I really did not like her attitude in this book. Another thing is the way Sydney learned about magic. Weird. Kind of stupid. I just didn't like that whole segment when she was learning about magic.

This is the worse kept secret EVER! Now the entire village can just wander back and forth. I'm not sure if all the characters are just so similar that in spite of already meeting all the past players they really don't interact from book to book. There are snippets here and there but the characters you love so much in past books are rarely the same vibrant characters in the next book. I really loved Jane's story and found it to be the first book in this series that had a full arc in emotions. The banter between the characters seemed authentic and the story was quite different. Callum was just there in the last book and had very little story so having him the leading man mostly in this time period, driving and fitting perfectly into modern-day life was kind of weird. It was one of my least favorite in the series.

This is part of the Morna's Legacy Time Travel series that I love. There are around 12 books and I love all of them that include people traveling back and forth in time in Scotland. Each book is based on a certain couple helped with love by Morna but they all intact with each other. Some are based more on people moving back in time and some move forward but they all interact together.

Trust or not
Trust is an amazing thing. If you cannot trust a friend then who can you trust. When that trust is thought to be broken when it wasn't do you forgive? The tell of Callium and Sydney's story is one of love and trust. The characters are belivable and very much real . I highly recommend this book.

Loved all the books in this series by Bethany Claire.
To weave such amazing stories only tells you one thing this Author is amazing. Between long ago Scotland and modern day is a wonderful story of not just romance but magical times along with tragedy. If we can travel into space why can't we time travel especially for love.

I loved all the Morna series. I wish it could GI on and on. I loved the characters and was thrilled they appeared in all the books. I love time travel, but I liked these the best.

Morna's Legacy Book 9
This series is just what the doctor ordered. I just can't get enough of this series. The characters and their storylines are so deep and their trials feel so real. Can't get enough of Scottish Time Travel.

I simply love this series. It brings joy, sadness, and love all rolled into just reading one of the stories. I can’t wait to read the next one. I loved Callum and Sydney that were meant for each other.
