The main character of Dropping Out: The Trespasser Killer, Conrad Nevitt, is a man of his word and has a hidden sense of sentimentality. Throughout the book, he followed his wish of complete isolation from the world, even when people thought differently. He was tired of people; he just wanted out, but he still reminisced on the past. That shows the man he is, and I enjoyed watching it unfold. His strong hunger of isolation kept me wondering what he would do. Would he kill him? No…oh wait, yes. There’s no way he’d kill him. Oh, never mind. Then hearing his family stories made me smile. Though he wanted to be left alone, he still thought about his family. That mixture keeps you guessing and subconsciously makes you think back to your own memories. The action is there and so is the sentiment. Dropping Out: The Trespasser Killer, a recommended read for those on the hunt for freedom from the world’s noise.
