Dance 10 minutes every day. Write and record a rap song. Absolutely no Facebook (harder than you think). Avoid a randomly chosen Deadly Sin.
What starts out as a wacky way to mix up a twenty-something's routine turns into a year of self discovery through fun weekly challenges. Over the course of 52 weeks Alex falls in love, struggles with a new job, raises $20,000 for charitable causes, and has a blast along the way. Based on his humorous blog that tracks the adventure, follow along and try the challenges yourself!
Specifically real life as a twenty-something trying to figure stuff out. I like how honest the author is with struggles to become his happiest, most productive version of himself. I feel inspired to try the challenges he writes about. Definitely give this book a shot.
I happen to know the author (went to school with him at ASMS), so I may be slightly biased; however, this was a genuinely great book. It's styled as a blog, but in book form, which it actually is. Because I actually know this guy, I know he writes the way he talks (He's that much fun in real life. Seriously.), and you really get a feel for each week's challenge through his eyes. Definitely a fun read for me, especially because I remember fb posts from back when he was doing this, and it was great reading the results. Good job, Alex!
