Crystal has truly come into her own with her abilities. She has continued to help them grow and she is still determined to use them to help others.

When a ghost comes to her asking her to save Sage she knows she'll help her no matter what the question is how do you help someone you don't even know?

I love how mature she is and how invested she becomes in helping others when they cross her path.

I once again enjoyed going along the journey with her as she strove to figure out who Sage was and how she needed help and everything she did to keep her safe.

This was another great installment in the series and I certainly do hope there will be more!

How do you save a girl from a deadly fate when you don't know how she's going to die?....

Wow, I think this story is by far my favorite one yet! Crystal was yet again, an amazing character. She is getting better with her abilities as the stories progress. I love how the author added some new twists to this story that I sure not expecting when I started reading. The author added a special twist to Sage and her mental problems. I really never saw this coming and I love to be surprised by an author's style of writing. I highly recommend this story, though I will admit to be ready for the feelers in this story.

The author provided me with a digital ARC copy of the book for review purposes only through Storytime Book Reviews. No remuneration was exchanged.

It was nice to come back to Crystal and her friends and seeing the culmination of everything that she went through in the first 2 books. It felt like a fitting ending to the trilogy (?) but who knows, there might be more books in the future.

While it was frustrating at times, I wish that there were more Crystal and Robin moments. They were my favorite in Desire in Frost, and I really wanted to see more of them, rather than basically be told about them. I guess the actual saving Sages' life was more important but even that whole dilemma was small in comparison to Crystal and her feelings about her abilities. Either way it was a quick read and I enjoyed it. Here's to hoping Crystal and Robin and Emma and Derek show up again.

I just got done reading the Crystal Frost series, including a sequel short story, by the fantastic author @aliciarades . This was one of those recommended to me by Amazon, and it looked interesting. What an understatement! Rades may be one of the best new (to me) YA authors out there. Her character development and plot lines were great, and her new take on some familiar paranormal stories (psychics) really had me hooked. I finished this entire series in about 1 1/2 days; I could not stop reading, curious to see what's next.
....
This is one of the few Kindle reads that I would like to really have in physical book form. Alicia Rades is definitely one of the authors I'm expecting great things from in the future.

Inspired by Forst was not what I expected. I had already read the other two books in the series and loved them. This book, however, had twists that surprised even me. This is my favorite book in the series so far. I love how far Crystal has come and how she has grown with her powers. She has been tasked with saving someone but has no idea how to save them or how they will die. Worse, she has to balance all this while her being there for her mother and helping with the wedding. Even better, Crystal develops new abilities to help her with her missions. I cannot wait to see what Alicia Rades has in store for us in her next book.

Alicia sent me a arc for an honest review
Crystal has been getting better and better at using her powers and has almost mastered the little things. When a ghost shows up while trying on dresses for her mothers wedding, Crystal has to help her. The ghost (Melissa) asks Crystal to save a girl names Sage and she only has a month to do it in Crystal has also developed new powers to help her on her quests. There was some added twists in this story that were surprising to me. this has to be my favorite book in this series so far I cant wait to see what Alicia comes up with next

An inspiring read!

How do you save a girl from a deadly fate when you don’t know how she’s going to die?

I think this is my favourite from what I have read so far - it deals with such an important issue and I hope everybody can take that message with them that the book conveys.

Lovely writing - I love how it flows so naturally that you get so engrossed in it, you forget everyone and anything.

Full of abilities, secrets, visions, psychics, ghosts, trust, friends, romance and family.

Perfect for readers of paranormal romances.

Reread: Audiobook

Enjoyable listen and narration.

With her mother's wedding coming up soon and her latest psychic abilities telling her she must save a girl on the day of her mother's wedding, Crystal had allot ahead of her. In less that a months time, she must find this girl and save her. She meets the girl while trying dresses on for the wedding. And learns the girl goes to school with her boyfriend Robin. She tries to become friends with this girl so she can save her. What she didn't expect was the danger tho be what it turned out to be. Sometimes being a psychic sucks for Crystal, but when she saves a life she feels like a super hero

Awesome! Awesome! Awesome! I love how the mystery seems impossible to figure out in the beginning, but the author delicately added clues to help Crystal Frost and the reader figure it out by the end. I loved how the reader gets so much more in depth with Crystal's life. I also thought the ending was terrific! I agree with some of the other reviews; this had been the best Crystal Frost book yet!

Inspired by Frost

This series gets better with each installment. The characters are a lot more flushed out and dealing with the changes that occur within the story. I like how Crystal is changing and maturing at the same time as her abilities are growing. This is a solid, enjoyable read. I would recommend the series to fans of paranormal mysteries or paranormals in general.

Love It!

Absolutely amazing read. It's great to see Crystal embrace her ever changing gifts. It's also amazing to see how well her support system helps her. Can't wait to see if there are any more adventures that they will go through.

“She’ll take her last breath the next time you wear that dress.”

Months of passive paranormal activity leads Crystal to believe that her mother’s wedding to Teddy will go without incident. Crystal is on high alert however, after a ghost named Melissa, turns up in her fitting room while she’s picking out her maid of honour dress, with an ominous message warning her about someone’s impending death.

Upon investigation, Crystal comes to the conclusion that the girl in danger is Sage, a classmate of Robins. But how do you save a girl from a deadly fate when you have no idea how she’s going to die?

Inspired by Frost is the third instalment of the Crystal Frost series. While the previous books dealt with issues such as domestic abuse and child abduction, this instalment tackles the subject of sexual abuse, self harming and attempted suicide. We see Crystal facing her biggest challenge yet as she attempts to befriend a girl who has no reason to trust her, in order to ascertain the direction the threat to her life is coming from.

I felt that the author handled the subject of sexual abuse with great sensitivity. I felt emotionally invested in Sage’s story as one can only imagine her inner private struggle over the years. I felt genuine tears well up at the end over the ‘inspired by Frost’ comment.

While the book started off slow with Crystal once more struggling with self doubt, the ending was worth it. It was less predictable than previous instalments as I didn’t realise the danger was hiding in plain sight all along which made it all the more devastating.

This was a strong addition to the series and I’ll be reading the authors fourth and final book next. This series is ideal for young fans of paranormal abilities, ghosts, psychics and mysteries.

I received a advanced free audible copy of Inspired by Frost which was read by the excellent Kim Reiko and I am voluntarily reviewing it.

Again we began with Crystal Frost. She's in the bridle shop with her mom. She is trying on bridesmaids dresses. Crystal tries on several until one catches her eye. A beautiful purple dress, trying it on was very exciting, Until she notices a ghost. A young girl named Melissa. The ghost immediately tells her to save the girl Named Sage. Melissa says to Crystal "she'll take her last breath the next time you wear the dress" .Crystal is now confused as how to find Sage. She gave no real clues, or description. When all of a sudden a young girl asks if she needs help getting out of the purple dress. She procedes to help Crystal, leaving the dressing room.At the cashier the young girl rings up the dress,Crystal pays and starts to leave when she says Thank you, Crystal asks the girl for her name. stunned the girl says my name is "Sage". Unable to move Crystal stands there starring at Sage. Now she wonders how to save her? Also who is Melissa and why Sage is in danger? Again Crystal speaks to Robin not knowing that he already knows her. She's a classmate in school. They
begin plan how to get close to Sage. Robin being in a band invite Sage to a gig. They begin to hang out. All along Crystal gets strange vibes from Sage. Like she is hiding something.
Can Crystal figure out the puzzle in time before her mom's wedding? I loved the way she wrote wrote all the twist and mystery . It keeps you going, highly recommend.

Inspired by Frost (Crystal Frost Book 3) ~~ Now this is where things start getting deeper. Crystal’s abilities aren’t just “new and scary” anymore — she’s learning to control them, use them, and understand the bigger picture. And just when things feel manageable, she starts encountering spirits with unfinished business that’s way more complicated than anything she’s dealt with before.

Emma plays a bigger emotional role in this book, and I love that their friendship isn’t just surface-level. There are moments of friction, honesty, and real loyalty — exactly what you expect from lifelong friends. Derek keeps doing his “I don’t believe in all this psychic stuff but I’m still here anyway” routine, which makes him lovable in his own way.

Robin and Crystal finally get more direct with their feelings, and thank goodness, because that tension has been building for two full books. Their relationship feels real — awkward, sweet, and a little messy — the way teenage love should. Robin’s support during Crystal’s most intense psychic moments shows how much he’s grown too.

This book digs into purpose, responsibility, and what it really means to help the dead. And Crystal finally starts seeing that her abilities aren’t a curse — they’re something powerful and meaningful.

I would definitely recommend this book and series and can’t wait to start on the next book. If you want to know what happens next, you’ll just have to read this series yourself — you won’t regret it.

This was a great continuation to the series and my favorite one so far! Crystal definitely has her hands full in this book between her new psychic abilities, helping with her mom’s wedding, and finding and preventing the death of a stranger named Sage. I love Crystal’s personality and how much she wants to help anyone in need. This book was less predictable and had more twists and turns which I really enjoyed. Although I love that Alicia mainly focuses on the mystery, I wish there was a little more romance in the book.
Kim did another amazing job with her narration! She speaks at a steady pace and knows how to keep your attention from start to finish.

So much pleasure to immerse yourself in the history of Crystal Frost, this series is a real favorite.

There is Crystal Frost who has adapted well to the supernatural except that months of paranormal use make her think that her mother's marriage would go smoothly. When suddenly a ghost named Melissa appeared during the dress tests as a bridesmaid. She's going to do everything she can to save Melissa's daughter Sage. Except it's hard to save someone when you don't know how they're going to die.

Looking forward to reading the rest and all the books of this author who has an addictive pen, her novels her addictive, captivating novels filled with suspense and twists and turns. This author is one of my favorite authors.

Actual rating 3 stars

I am starting to have some issues with the main character and her wining. It's a bit too much. Especially since half of the time that is what she does.

Yes, we know it is a learning experience and we do not know everything yet. But jeez you do not have to be extra freaking dramatic all the damn time.

However the characters still had moments of wisdom.

Lastly, the kisses have become somewhat boring? It's always "soft" or "hard". Basically I am not invested in the love stories and I think the plotline can deal without it.

Trigger warning:
Suicide
Abuse
Depression
Tragic loss

I liked this book less than the last book.

Mom is back to being super snivelling and unable to do anything. Emma is either a really lame pushover with no sense of dignity or the snark is going to make her walk away from Crystal. I wouldn't blame her, every new character that comes in ends up a rating so far above Emma just sad, all Emma is is a teacher (which should be her mom) and a driver.

Crystal is a dunderhead and so incredibly inconsiderate, yes someone's life was on the line but it was her mother's wedding, she could have at least pretended she gave even the slightest damn about anyone other than 'helpless victim of the week'.

I will be very glad when this series is over.

Another dreadful installment in which the author resorts to the easy tactic of “I’m a psychic” to reveal a new evidence/fact. For books if this genre, it shouts a writer who is not able to carve a storyline/poly that progress with its characters. It is shocking to see secondary characters taking a step back with their lack of input and the teenager protagonist is turning into a detective with a shocking lack of supervision or guidance of a parental figure.

I’m surprised that this series is getting 5 star reviews which sadly influenced my decision to read the whole series - a disappointing decision!

A fabulous, T&YA paranormal & urban fantasy. As Crystal Frost tries on her maid of honor dress, a ghost tells her Sage will die the next time Crystal wears it. But Crystal doesn't know who Sage is. When she finds out, she learns Sage is a closed-off person. Drawing her out is laborious and convoluted.

Alicia Rades spun this tale in an impressive manner. Fruitless leads. Cautious friendship. Rejection. And salvation. I look forward to more Crystal Frost stories.

Easy-to-read. Entertaining. Inspirational. Romantic. Scary. Tragic. Twisted. Unpredictable. Whimsical. Wonderful characters.

I received a review copy of this book from a third party. This is my honest review.

Love

I started book one two days ago, finished it in 2 hours and searched frantically for the remaining ones. Two days passed before I finally found out I could just buy them on the kindle store. Sooo, I did. 4 hours ago, I bought the entire series and have already finished book 2 and 3. Tomorrow I intend to finish book four. And hopefully there will be more to come or more similar. (Maybe a into the future of one of crystals kids?) either way it goes. It is so well written and I was in a trance. I felt like I was living the whole thing. Thank you so much for these books.

Another entertaining book in the frost Series. It is well paced and keeps the journey going with Crystal, her friends, and family. This book takes on the subject matter of abuse. As in all the books in this series, the characters are well developed and the pace is perfect. Crystal discovers new aspects to her ability and continues to develop her gifts. If you liked the first two books, you will like this one too. It is a very entertaining ya paranormal adventure.

In this book the main character Chrystal annoyed the hell outta me. She was so annoying. Why? Well to me she came across as if she was so incredibly important and extremely insecure one moment and super confident the next that it was bugging me a lot.

Besides that SPOILER: who the fuck delays a wedding and let their daughter go off in the middle of it?

The mental health representation was mediocre at best!

Third in the series. Definitely YA but maybe I'm getting used to it? It wasn't as noticable. Crystal is a psychic teen and wants to use her abilities for good. She can be more than a little angsty but the storyline is decent. This book deals with abuse, trauma, and mental health. I liked that they didn't just have her save the day and all was well but instead carried the story through to show that mental health takes time. 😎

No real review, as most of what I wrote for the second book also applies here. Felt like reading some fluffy PNR and so I did. Romance, but not sex. MC comes across as whiney and most times unsure, not my type of heroine.

Three stars, barely, not really recommended, for younger readers and fans.

Okay, so, first of all, this should have had multiple trigger warnings for people! Seriously!
Secondly, Crystal annoyed me every second of this book.
Thirdly, Emma never gets enough story time and is taken completely for granted.
I did not like this book at all. I am disappointed in it actually. I will be reading the last book in this series, and I hope it is better than this one.

I have just finished reading this series of 4 books. 4 books in less than 4 days, need I say more?

A well written tale of a young, teenage girl who on reaching puberty, realises she has certain powers. These 4 books tell the story of her trials and tribulations.

Not going to say any more about these books, read them for yourself but make sure you read them in order.

I got this audiobook series to share with my 15 year old granddaughter. Although we enjoyed listening to it together, it was mostly to laugh at Crystal’s ridiculous decisions and the overwriting in the book.

I was surprised my granddaughter wanted to continue listening to this series. When I asked why she said it was so bad it was entertaining.

Wow. This book was so much better than the last one. I totally loved the character developments. When I came to know the reason behind the title of this book in the last page, I was overwhelmed! Raised has done a really good job in crafting this literary (psychic) piece.
