Not bad, but no great. It is a brief read about 15-year-old Emily's recellation if a school shooting. Not quite a year before a male classmate appeared in the doorway of Emily's homeroom and opened fire, killing the teacher first and then moving on to the students and other parts of the school.

I relate well to Emily and admire her faith to survive this trauma and use it to help others. I have never experienced such a traumatic event and hope I never do. I cannot even begun to imagine what goes through a person's mind as they are at the mercy of a killer, nor can I quite understand why the assailant's desire or wish to bring such harm and trauma.

Whew! Intense and a bit unpredictable. Seems to be Christian fiction, but there was some profanity.

This book was dire. I was lead to believe it was a Christian book, but apart from a few peppered phrases here and there, there was nothing 'Christian' about it!
Frankly I found it disturbing, and I think the person who wrote it has a disturbed mind. I have read a lot of Christian fiction, but never anything as awful as this!
