Fluff. Pure fluff.
With a title like tiger in her bed what else could it possibly have been?
I get that but still! It started off normal enough, not even a hint of fluff.
You realize we read the same book right? And together too?
Oh fine fine. There might have been an itsy bitsy hint amongst the pace of the book but we've read fast paced books before!
Anyway, so the plot's exactly as the blurb says.
Literally.
Yeah there's barely any value addition. And none really if you exclude the steam.
Holy Hell was it steamy.
I loved Vanessa and her blunt to a fault personality. I wish I had more to read about her. Quinn was...okay. he didn't leave much of a lasting impression, His mom though Lol yes she's a keeper!
Honestly I really liked Lizzie's style of writing. I'd love to read a longer full fledged book that wasn't only fluff.
3.5 stars cause that writing was right down my alley.

This story is pricelessness personified. This author made me laugh and fall in love at the same time. I love how she brought the world of shifters into reality for me. The vivid descriptions combined with the hot & sassy plot to create a novella that was a blast to read. Lee is an author with the ability to build emotions in a relationship through a hot yet touching sex scene. The pages sizzle with it.
I love how raw & real the characters are. The main characters were vivid and easy to fall for. They were remarkably well developed for a novella. I felt as if I really got to know them as they got to know each other. Quinn’s in control attitude combined with Vanessa’s laid back, studious one to create a couple that really fits together. Not only that, but Quinn’s family was a blast to get to know. They helped bring everything into perspective for me.
As a whole this was a fun, hot, inviting read that was the perfect way to spend a few hours. It was my first read by this intriguing author but it most definitely will not be my last.

This was a short quick read and the first book in a new series too me. While at an office New Year's Eve party Vanessa Lyle was dared to kiss her boss Quinn Alexander she was drunk and very unaware that it went viral. When her boss calls her into his office she thinks she will be fired he shows her the video he blackmail her into pretending to be his girlfriend to gets his mother off his back. Turns out Quinn has always wanted her but she was too oblivious to see it. Quinn also has a secret he is an alpha weretiger. This was a good read that I wanted more of the sex scenes in this book were hot. When Vanessa is hurt by a co-worker who is a wolf shifter she finds out about weres and Quinn. This was my first time reading this author this book was well written with no errors in grammar or spelling. I am looking forward to reading the next book in this series.

I like that the young woman in this tale is a computer tech who is helping to create videogames for a large company. At the office party she drunkenly kisses the boss she's fancied for ages and that starts something nobody had expected.
I don't much like the boss who is a rather possessive, domineering guy, expecting others to drop whatever their lives might be to please him. He doesn't do respectful friendly dating or safe sex.
Strictly for adults only, a shifter romance with tigers, jealous werewolves next door and some strong language. If you're really into this kind of short romance story you'll enjoy the read.

Surprisingly, I enjoyed this book!
I’ve never been a fan of Shapeshifter romance, especially the novellas, because they tend to be rushed and unrealistic. This one, though, got the perfect blend of romance and shapeshifting magic.

Because of a simple dare, Vanessa kissed Quinn, which unfortunately was caught on a video.
Vanessa can be described as one of those modern women who are straight forward and won’t spend a minute fantasizing about a man they can’t have. She was oblivious to the fact that the hottest guy in their company has been dropping hints, which are actually obvious to some except her, and that he actually liked her for a long time.
I liked Quinn’s character – he’s a typical alpha male who’s cold on the outside but fuzzy warm on the inside. And man, he can be sizzling hot when he can.
What I liked the most with this book is how it was written. The words are descriptive; detailed, but not in a nauseating way. The twists are also unexpected, I am hoping it was longer because I wanted to read about Quinn getting rejected by Vanessa, but overall, it’s been fun reading this book.

This contemporary shapeshifter story takes place in California and Colorado. It is suitable for adult audiences. After having too much to drink at the company New Year’s Eve Party, Vanessa Lyle, accepts a dare to kiss her boss, Animatrica CEO, Quinn Alexander. Photos are posted on social media and seen by Quinn’s mother. Quinn demands that Vanessa pretends she is his girlfriend for the weekend. Little does Vanessa know; Quinn has a furry secret.
I really liked both Quinn and Vanessa’s characters. I love that Vanessa dresses casually despite the pressure from her family. I also like that she is socially clueless and a computer geek. Quinn is an introverted workaholic alpha. When it comes to their work ethic, the two are really perfect for each other. The characters have great chemistry and amusing conversations.
I enjoyed the plot. There were numerous unexpected twists that kept the story exciting. This is the first book I have read by Lizzie Lynn Lee. I enjoy her humor and writing style. I would definitely read more books by her in the future. Her work reminded me a little of Shelly Laurenston and Terry Spear.

Cute bit of fluff. There were a few points I didn't think jelled with her personality. Starts out that she's too chubby/plain to get a boyfriend but she's confident enough to walk into a bar and ask a random guy if he wants to sleep with her. Also, a total tomboy but loves the makeover from future MIL. In my mind the makeover would be something she put up with to be nice, not a great way to spend an afternoon.
Finally, Lizzie hit one of my pet peeves. Why is it OK to kill the minions but not the mastermind? Ivy planned the attack on Vanessa, why are they questioning if banishing her is too harsh but no one is worried about killing the wolves that just followed her orders? FFS kill Ivy and give the minions a slap on the wrist!

This was a fun, quick read that was funny and hot. After a drunken dare gets Vanessa to kiss her scary and all too serious boss, she fears she will be fired. Instead she is blackmailed into pretending to be his girlfriend since video of their steamy kiss leaked to his family. I’ve never read anything by Lee before but I really enjoyed this. Well written, hilarious in places and great steamy scenes. I became lost in this story and it left me with a smile and feeling light. I definitely recommend to paranormal romance fans.

This was a short spicy read that, while a bit on the smh side, was very enjoyable. I truly loved Vanessa, especially in her confrontation with her rival (not to give anything away.) It was well written, well thought out - only absurd if you can't suspend your disbelief, which I was fully able to do - and the editing was mostly clean.
All in all it was a fun bit of fluff to spend an hour or so reading.

I usually do not like to read books with tiger shifters but I gave this book a try and really liked it. I loved that Vanessa was a no nonsense type of woman that did not fall over her own feet for the hot guy - and boy is he HOT.

He's also a tiger shifter who has eyes for Vanessa, but she seems oblivious to his interest.

Trent is the perfect hero with wonderful characteristics; he was perfect for Arielle. When Arielle discovers about Trent's Tiger, will she stay or go?
The pacing of book did not lag or slow as you journey with Arielle and Trent. The story-line was interesting and kept me reading from page one. The added suspense of the mobster element was skillfully done as Ms. Lee revealed the threat to Arielle. Her portrayal of Sabrina was well crafted as Ms. Lee reveals an insecure rich girl that needs validation and love.
The despair each felt when he unintentionally revealed his tiger was heartbreaking as we watch Arielle come to terms with Trent's other side and Trent realize he could not force his nature on Arielle. Will Arielle and Trent met in the middle and find happiness? Can Arielle accept that Trent is more than human? Sorry, you will have to read the book.
Author Lizzie Lee created a wonderful family in the Alexander's who are tight knit and supportive of each other. I loved the interaction between the brothers as it felt very real.
The sex is erotic, steamy, and hot. The pages exploded with heat and the sexual descriptions are not for wimps.
RECOMMENDATION:
This book though part of a series is a standalone. This book contains erotic sex and language between two people that are mates and in love. If you do not care for erotica or sexual language this book may not be for you. If the sex in any book is too explicit for me, I skip over those parts to get to the story-line. This book is well crafted and well written with a solid story. I recommend this book for adults due to sexual content and language.

This book is well crafted and well written with a solid story. I recommend this book for adults due to sexual content and language.

At a company party on New Years eve Vanessa Lyle is dared to walk up and kiss her boss Quinn Alexander, only she has been drinking. She accepts the dare and accomplishes her task only it doesn't work out how either one of them expected.
When a video of them kissing goes viral, Quinn's mom sees it and asks to meet his girlfriend. Vanessa is expecting to lose her job, but Quinn uses that and tells her she needs to fix the problem she caused allowing her to keep her job. When they go to his parent's house in Aspen, everything between them changes and Quinn, a tiger shifter, can't keep his hands off her, since she's his mate. Only the woman that he was asked to marry to strengthen the family ties causes trouble. Will Quinn be able to save his mate??
I really enjoyed this story. Quinn and Vanessa were fun characters, and complete opposites. I really loved getting to know his family especially his mom she's awesome. You can tell that this family is tight knit and will do whatever is needed to protect their family. This was a fun read, also the first story I've read from this author and can't wait to get to know John and Trent.

Quinn finally gets his oblivious true mate when he blackmails Vanessa into a family gathering in Aspen. I absolutely loved it.
I love stories by Lizzie Lynn Lee and have been reading them for years so when I was offered a copy of her latest paranormal romance, 'Tiger in Her Bed' in exchange for an honest review, naturally I jumped at the chance. I was completely hooked from the first sentence and really couldn't put it down.
Shy and introverted, curvy human and genius game designer Vanessa Lyle expected to be fired after her totally out of character behaviour at the office New Year's Eve party. She really couldn't believe she'd gotten so drunk that she'd actually taken her team leader Stephen's bet and kissed her boss. And in front of everyone too. Now all she needed was the proverbial 'hole in the ground' to come and save her from the shame and embarrassment that came with the cold light of the new working day and the never ending barrage of questions from her gossiping colleagues. Fortunately, she really couldn't remember much. So when Stephen tells her that Quinn wants to see her, she's expecting to have to find another job in a hurry. It's a good thing she's sitting down when she isn't fired and Quinn's surprise bombshell lands....

I don't want to give any spoilers, but this stand alone is a fantastic read, and not just for the holidays. Filled with great characters, it has a little action courtesy of a jealous colleague, some panty melting steamy bits, is laugh out loud funny and has the happily ever after I always expect from Lizzie's books. I absolutely loved it.

The next day she takes her walk of shame into work and afraid she’s going to get fired. But Lord Demon or Quinn Alexander surprises her because of a video of the kiss has gone viral. Quinn’s mom wants to meet her thinking she’s his girlfriend. Vanessa may be a genius at her work but is oblivious when it comes to men’s advances. This is a very fun and entertaining story to read. Well written and enjoyable story.
