Rating this books was tough. I've been reading quite a few books on insomnia recently and have come to the conclusion that the best way to put one's self to sleep might be to read an insomnia book. Now, that is partially because I've read the same information over and over again. There seems to be very little variability and the authors tend to impart the knowledge in a very stuff manor. This book wasn't much different until I got to Chapter 7. Then I got excited. Chapter 7 is all about the way we perceive sleep and sleep problems. It challenges some hard held beliefs about the importance of 8 hours of sleep, addresses the anxiety the people can experience based on their beliefs about sleep, and advocates a matter-of-fact approach. I loved it. This is a chapter that I haven't seen in most of the other books I've read. Yes!
