M.P. Ness, born April 15th (1982) shares his birthday with the infamous Leonardo DaVinci, and seems to own perhaps a fair share of the creative spirit and ability for which the old world master was known.
M.P. is a classically and commercially trained visual artist and writer/screenwriter, and sometime musician, with hopes of ultimately making his stories into blockbuster films, and/or animations.
He attended the Art Institute of Seattle toward a bachelor's in animation arts.
He loves all things artistic, though admittedly with a heavy lean toward fantasy.
He lives in Seattle, Washington, USA, by which coincidence he was inspired to write his debut novel series, E.L.F.

Each installment of this series is better than the last. The war between the Elvine and the Gary Leaves/Humans as well as the blighted leaves really heats up in this one. The ending is one that you don't want to miss, but I do not want to give away any spoilers. There was an excerpt from Book #4 with the introduction of a new character which left me excited for the next book to see where the author is going to take me next and how it all ties together with previous books. Anxiously awaiting #4 Varigated Leaves

Ness has outdone himself with this one. Battles between humans, elves, faerie, and the blighted abound in this third book. The Grey Men also return with their ancient weapon. Yet, the Feldraj (demons) work to control the weapon and the Grey Men.

Well written with great character interaction and an intense plot that will keep you hooked. This book also has an ending that will leave you breathless and eagerly anticipating the next book.
