When a witch and a shifter meet in a bar they have no idea what a ride they have ahead of them!
The Sexual tension and teasing behaviour is entertaining, the Innuendos are hysterical and hot!
Ryan is an alpha male shifter, maybe his not an alpha in a pack but his all man/wolf. He sees something different in Zoey and is no hurry to rush things, hence the sexual tension.
Zoey is a witch a pretty powerful one at that, witches use sex to power up and recharge, plus she enjoys sex a lot.
Ryan has taken it upon himself to protect Zoey and has her hid away in a static caravan, luckily it's fully serviced with amenities, as they both need a cold shower or two.
I love how there relationship developed, which was down to Ryan rather than Zoey, she would have took him any time any place. They have real passion for each other which can be felt through the conversations they have.
There's more going on than a developing relationship, the hunters are looking for Zoey, the coven wants her back with them so they can protect her, there's also lots of other interesting paranormal men and women introduced.
We get flashbacks to Zoey's heartbreaking past and the beginnings of her friendship with Anna. Ryan has a past too and a fun and sexy set of friends he can call on when needed.
Can't wait to read more in this series, some storylines were definitely hinted at.
A great book with the perfect mix of romance, paranormal, humour, action and sex!

Saucy, sexy, and oh so yummy!!This story was extremely fast paced and yet very well written. The characters were phenomenal. I laughed, cried, and sometimes I would get mad at a turn of the page. The story-line was so addicting that I had to keep turning the page.
ZOEY.
Zoey was an incredible character. I loved her sass and don't take crap from anyone kind of attitude.She was so brave and I loved how she could stand up and take care of herself, and yet had such a compassion for others.
RYAN 'TEXAS' TAYLOR
Texas was sexy and oh so sure of himself. I loved how he would tease and torment Zoey and still fought a battle within to not fall into her temptations. He had me cracking up at different times in the story.
Both of these characters made this a fun, refreshing, and delicious read. I highly recommend this to all Adults who love the Paranormal and a bit of Erotica mixed in.

Outstanding! I'm looking forward to reading what else fate has in store for Zoey!
In this book, we meet Zoey, who's pretty much a badass sexy witch with a really bad past and some major issues with committment. She's fun, but she's also one of the oldest witches in her area and she is just got tired of running, but didn't really know any other life then no attachment, and just fun. Until we meet Ryan. He's from the military, and he's a wolf shifter, and their chemistry from first meeting is pretty darn powerful.
I really loved the storyline in this book, as I've said before, for me, paranormal romance really need to keep my attention for with story as well as romance, because it's not all about the steamy parts. But Dawn & Daniels managed that pretty flawlessly! The plot was well thought out, had great conflict and tension, and really took us on a ride. I was on the edge of my seat for parts and I loved it! There's a major tension and drama leading up to parts of this book, and they played it perfectly!
I think having two broken characters come together in this book really worked well. I loved both of their stories, their interaction, and their connection. They both try to fight it, but in the end it's pointless. For the first book in a series, I think both of these authors can only go up from here! I'm excited to see more in this story, or break off storylines because the world building was well done, and so many places they can go! Great job!

Zoey is the kind of woman I would love to be. She is sure of herself, strong willed...or stubborn depending on who you ask...,and really intelligent. She doesn't put up with crap from anyone and guards her heart. She's a leader in her coven and enjoys that status, though she knows there are those above her in the area who find her tedious, though it seems she enjoys causing trouble. She is a mentor to the younger witches and tries to lead by example though what's coming her way will test her on all fronts.
Enter Ryan, the smooth talking, smokin' hot man who sweeps her off her feet and out of trouble. He doesn't know that he's brought a heap of trouble to his doorstep, but once he's had a taste of Zoey, he wants her regardless. He finds her sexy and smart, and what he loves about her is that she challenges him. She doesn't fall down at his feet, even when he asks nicely, and she doesn't rely completely on him, even though he'd be alright with that.
The story is full of suspense, angst, sexy males, feisty females, good mystery and lots to look forward to in the next book. I loved the banter between the two. I loved the build up of sexual tension. I loved the underlying story full of action and mystery. I loved the support characters and their stories as they were woven into the main story line. This is a fun read and I'm looking forward to the rest of the series.

Hell in Heels is quite the introduction to authors Hope Daniels and Alicia Dawn. Two words best sum up this story - HOT and SASSY. Lets address the hotness first. OMG!!!!! The sexual tension between Zoey and Ryan is dripping from the pages. With their dominant personalities and chemistry I could not wait for these two to hope in the sack. I will say this, Zoey and Ryan's banter is non stop sexual innuendo. For me personally, it got a bit tiring but I get it. It is who they are. Both are covering up baggage and use the banter as a way of protecting their hearts. It's who they are.
On to the SASSY. Zoey is quite the spitfire! She embodies bad assery (not a word but it should be). Ryan is tough as nails in own right too. Together they are quite a force.
I like that the authors intertwine Zoey's past into the present story line. And they did it seamlessly.

I don't read a ton of PNR, although if I find one that can keep my interest and is not too over the top, I dig in. This one I found myself wanting to go back to again and again until I finished it. And with my short attention span and busy schedule, that is rare. Zoey and Ryan hit the ground running from a faked relationship to discourage an unwanted suitor to Zoey stealing Ryan's truck to run from hunters, to the sexual tension and introduction of very well developed secondary characters throughout, interweaving the story and hinting at more to come. There were some editing issues that could use addressing but they did not affect the overall story enough to make the reader not want to finish- you start this book, you have to see how it ends. Definitely a book worth giving a read if you like spunky witches and sexy wolves, witty banter and sexy moments.

This is book one of The Magical Forces Series, and it was definitely an enjoyable read. Zoey (witch) is one badass character that made me want to read further into her story. When she meets Ryan (wolf) in the bar that she frequents, their connection sparks instantly making it one for the books. Ryan would do anything to protect Zoey but doesn't overstep his boundaries when she disappears to take care of Phillip herself. Their relationship is unique and Zoey definitely deserved another chance at love. It was well-written with lots of detail. I look forward to reading book two. (KU)

Nice to meet you....let me grab your package! Talk about hitting the ground running! :D Steamy from the get go and it continues throughout. OMG! The sexual tension between not just Ryan and Zoey but the others as they find each other in the story is fantastic. Best way to kick off the New Year. Hot book by some new to me authors!

Digital version available via KU was not put together in order. It skips chapters - goes from staying hidden to hero recovering from an attack in which the heroine was abducted. Several chapters later, it goes back to the point when the timeline jumped and includes everything that happened up to the attack then repeats the chapters after the attack. Once everything is caught up the next chapter font spacing, type, and format are different. I DNF'd at 67% due to severe production quality issues.

I loved the spin on this one and how her past and future meet. I liked how strong Zoey was, but loved the fact that she was determined to do what she could to protect those close to her. Ryan definitely proved himself as a good mate by doing whatever necessary to protect her and help her close what happened in her past. Good read!

Exciting!
I found myself really enjoying this. It was a very enjoyable story.
I could see this as a series. I loved the twist and turns.

Great Balls of Witchy Shifter heated romance
OMG where do I start. She is one badass witch, he’s one tough rouge shifter. The hunters, hunting her, the need to save her…. Their instant enormous chemistry. This was a fantastic read and can’t wait to read more.

Witches and shifters and demons, oh my!
This was such a great read! Paranormal romance is by far my favorite genre, and this story didn't disappoint. While witches arent typically my favorite supernatural entity, the wolf-shifter presence certainly made up for it. But that being said, Zoey (said witch), had a really great back history that the authors really delved into and elaborated on, giving me a colorful depiction/impression of witch life that I hadn't had prior to this book. I found it fascinating and loved all the cultural embellishments in both the coven characters' speech and daily life. The wolf pack had less back story but tons of present-day testosterone to keep me plenty satisfied. Ryan is sexy, sarcastic, and one with nature, as is his fantastic crew. They team member was a treat to dive into, their personalities and the way they interacted with one another absolutely fantastic. I'd find myself grinning from ear to ear each time a scene arose with them in it. And of course, Ryan and Zoey's chemistry was crazy hot right off the starting line. There was no question those two were "wildly" attracted to each other from the first moment they saw each other. And neither one is lacking in the sex appeal department, so their interactions were always delicious. I loved how the excitement level kept climbing through the story, hitting a super intense finale that had me cheering for both witch and wolf. They certainly make an awesome team. Can't wait to read the next installment. Pete the djin intrigues me to no end, a species among the paranormal we don't get to read about often. As with everything else about this series so far, the world, characters and dynamics are far from cliché. Brava to Alicia and Hope for keeping it all so unique right from the very start. Their paranormal romance debut has definitely gone off with a bang in MY book!

Ryan, a wolf-shifter, out having a beer, finds himself dancing with the sexiest woman after he rescues her from unwanted advances. Sparks fly between them. Their chemistry is off the charts.
Daniels and Dawn have written a delightfully entertaining paranormal story with some great twist and a few intense moments. The sexy time scenes are hot. Oh who said hot? Did someone mention a hot shifter alpha male named Ryan! I did, I did! Oh and ladies....he cooks. That's right, not only is hot, a wolf-shifter with a dirty mouth, alpha, ex-military and he cooks. Yes please.

No seriously, this happened.
Zoey and Ryan have not such a great past, this story was a little slow for me. But the story was interesting. Slow to burn relationship, more about developing a friendship and then turning it into something magical!
Zoey is a very powerful, strong sexy witch with a shitty past, with hunters after her. Ryan is a strong sexy alpha wolf, there story was good.
Good writing, good story, good flow it was overall good.

Nice to meet you....let me grab your package! Talk about hitting the ground running! :D Steamy from the get go and it continues throughout. OMG! The sexual tension between not just Ryan and Zoey but the others as they find each other in the story is fantastic. Best way to kick off the New Year. Hot book by some new to me authors!
