Tired of her parents’ overly-protective rules, Princess Lena decides to disobey the King and Queen’s command to stay behind the gates of the royal palace. Ten years of seclusion has been long enough. A new world beckons outside the high walls of the castle grounds. Now, her identical twin, Meg, must decide whether to share Lena’s journey to a new life. Join Lena and Meg as they dare to challenge limits and discover mysteries that are centuries old.
I know the author and she's incredibly nice. This book may be for younger people, 7-10 but its well written and a sequel is on its way. I'm reading the draft and its great!
Wow only the second to review this! It was published with Imagination stage :) It is a heart-warming book about the determination, leadership, and strength of a girl with a disability. I like how Meg is scared and Lena isn't. This always is true for those with physical or mental disablities.
I remember the day that the author, Sally Rosenberg Romansky, came to my elementary school to talk about this book. I was so excited to read it, and I actually read about half of it in the bookstore before I actually bought it. I've read it a couple of times since then.
