Rate this book
Bonus full-length 8,000 word Western Romance after Rent a Bride for Christmas!

Renting a bride for Christmas sounded like a good idea. Joe Conway is a Texas cowboy looking for a woman to improve his image in the small town of Thistle. Mindy Campbell is an out of work actress who needs the funds. She sees being a rental bride as a way to earn 5k. What neither planned was love.

Joe and Mindy encounter obstacles including the fact that she’s from New Jersey and he’s a West Texas cowboy. He likes country music and she does not. Joe’s ex-fiancé Cass enters the picture and there is the fact that Mindy has never been on a horse.

Christmas magic is in the air. Is it enough to attract opposites? The small town of Thistle needs a first couple for the Christmas tree lighting. Will Mindy and Joe have what it takes to last beyond the twinkling lights of Christmas?

Christian Romance?

Story line was cute. Liked how showed comparisons of opinions from different parts of country. I would not call it a Christian Romance because of the language used. Yes that's the way SOME christian s may talk but not all of us do. I would not let my teenage girl read it. Yes it was graphically clean and I appreciate that.

"It's Okay"

This is a very short story of a man who tries to hid his true identity. When he plans a Christmas holiday, he rents a gal to play as his wife. It's very simple to read, not very creative, and not too exciting. It didn't hold my attention because of its brevity.

The entire book was very childlike in vocabulary. Won't read another by this author. Very disappointed in this book and author.

It started out a cute read, then fast forwarded to a rather abrupt ending. I know this was a short story, however, I call it part written, the rest outline. Needs editing.
