Conrad can’t make up his mind about Lexie. There are good days when he thinks they can make it work, but there are bad days when he feels hopeless. Unsure what to do, he stalls. But then Lexie shows up at his door with something important to say.
Cayson and Skye are in a living hell. Their son is unable to breathe on his own, and there’s no guarantee he ever will. They remain at his bedside and keeping hoping for some good news.
Trinity fears having a baby will change her body so much that Slade won’t want her anymore. The stretch marks will turn him off, or the extra weight will dim his attraction. But when she asks Slade about it, he gives her a response she never could have anticipated.
At the end of a show, Slade gets a special visitor. But instead of telling his wife what happened, he keeps it to himself.

Would have given 5 stars if it wasn’t for the last chapter. I absolutely loathe Lexie, let alone Conrad and Lexie together. I guess I know I can skip their chapters in the remaining books. Roland was not wrong for what he did, he shouldn’t have been blamed with the others guys agreed with it as well. They should have gave it to him in the beginning as I’m sure Conrad would have just burnt it..
There were some great pieces to this book, but also just some annoying and drawn out drama. There are a few aspects of this book that made me wonder how they’ll wrap everything up in the next book....
I’m almost through the entire series (going to be upset when they are done). The only thing that bothers me is the writer gets characters mixed up sometimes or wording makes you have to reread the lines to figure it out.
This is my Go to series, If I find myself in a book funk this is where I end up. Its the familiarity of all the characters, having followed these guys from inception or is that conception! It is really lovely to know whats going on in their lives. Like an Auntie would want to know.
Im really pleased Skye and Carson got to take Cedric home, so love this name even without the heart felt meaning behind it. Such an old fashioned name but it suits him.
Oh dear poor Slade, he seems to never get a HEA, always something or other coming up and keeping it from Trinity, never bodes well for him, I hope he takes the advice given.
Still in two minds over Silke and Arsen it always appears when the the fear of forever loosing someone seems to be the only way for things to move forward. I hope she doesn't take too long to work it out. Arden does seem to be really trying hard.
Just love how Heath keeps Roland from being too pig headed, although that does tend to be a Preston family trait. Was he wrong to keep Conrad's letter away, I think thats forever going to be a 50/50 split thing, but I hope that Conrad doesn't take umbrage for too long. They do have a good relationship.
So Lexie and Conrad, its much as I don't want to hope they can make it, I just can't help it. They still have some obstacles to get over, but I hope they do make it, I hope COn's family come around.
Jared and Beatrice, just loving seeing how these two very strong minded couple navigate their obstacles.
This had me crying in the first chapter - flipping heck.
Man four weeks was a long time....sometimes I wonder why I still read this series because it's not at all like real life or soaps you watch on tv. Guess I'm addicted to some of the characters even if I don't agree with how E.L. writes each path. I certainly did not want lexie back in the picture, I thought Carrie was perfect!!! I was also hoping Slade would wise up and realize trinity is a spoiled brat who doesn't deserve him before she got knocked up. Though the title of the series does suggest the characters will be together forever and ever they've had break ups I would love a good divorce for those two. I'm very happy for the rest of the characters finally for cayson and Skye finally. Can't wait for after the new year.
Conrad and lexie...... pathetic! What use to make sense it doesnt anymore. I think the author is getting lost by trying to keep the series going. She brought carrie to the picture for 2 secs, made the whole family love her, just to bring pathetic lexie back. Well at least will see about arsen ans silkie. And rolland with his ex best friend. I always loved this series but I think im about done. Will see.
I love the gang. I am so happy that Cedric went home finally. I wish all the other couples were doing good. Its so awesome for Slade and his bad to get noticed. I cried so hard for Conrad, Roland and Lexie.
This series every time I read I can't ever put these books down. I'm so glad that Roland gave Conrad the letter and finally sees that Lexie did love him. This book will tug on your heartstrings and will make you root for every couple to get their HEA. I can't wait to read the next book in this series
