There isn’t anything that I find drastically new in Whiteboard, but it brings together many leading thoughts on how to best lead people to build a successful company. It is useful in reminding us the importance of people, communication, and realizing you might not have all of the answers, but by working with and listening to others, you can go much farther than you can alone.
Love love love this book! I finished reading Sunday night and already blocked out time Monday morning to read it again. As an avid user of whiteboards I found the scribbles and ideal creation similar to my line of thinking. With topics such as Cultivate, Grow, Learn I was drawn in and became disappointed when it came to an end. Excellent read would recommend to everyone
Book feels more suited for pulling out one drawing and applying it than to read it as a full book
I appreciate the emphasis on visuals and not text, but I feel like it would be much more impactful if some of these illustrations were explained. Feels like every quote or drawing serves as a reminder more than anything else: it's hard to parse if you don't already know what the author is trying to say
From a very capitalistic lens: "If you are not growing, you are dying." All of this sounds great in theory with page after page of basically the business model equivalent of buzzwords, which does inspire I guess
