The Grim Creeper

Rate this book
The Grim Creeper, who is he? What does he do in that big four-story house on the hill? He wears a long brown robe all the time. Some say he's a mad scientist and digs graves at two in the morning. What does he do in his basement? Purple, orange, and green smoke comes from his basement windows at all hours of the night. The townsfolk say he's a warlock and practices witchcraft. Many think he's harmless. He's just a harmless old man, isn't he? But when a kid or dog disappears, everyone points a finger at the Grim Creeper. Billy, Joey, and Ralph are about to find out the truth about the Grim Creeper.

I thought this book was hilarious! It takes a wonderful writer to capture all of these kid like characters as she did. Ralph, Joey and Billy are little stinkers for sure. They are up to no good with stories of horror and mayhem along with pestering their siblings. I found myself bursting out in laughter at some of things these guys do. And there's a part two! Who is this Grim Creeper they keep telling stories about? Is he just a regular guy or is he as malevolent and twisted hating children and locking them in their basement as the kids think? If you have kids or grandkids you really should pick this up for them. Or if you want a good laugh and adventure I would grab it because adults will love it too!
Stay tuned for book two when the Grim Creeper returns!

I loved this book and would say to anyone who loves a mystery with comedy in it to read it. The boys and Grim Creeper were fun to spend time with reading about and getting to know. Any age group could read this. Margretchin is an amazing author! I can't wait to read her next one. I enjoyed this book because once I started reading it I had a hard time putting it down because I wanted to know what was going to happen next. I hope all of you that read it enjoys it as much as I did!
