This is Nitti's personal account of his unlawful arrest, deportation, and eventual escapeunder the Fascist regime of Mussolini.
Nitti gives an accurate account of the conditions he and thousands of his fellow reporters were forced to endure during their captivity at various penal islands off Italy.
A good read.
