**This is not a standalone story. Please read at least Seducing the Dragon (Stonefire Dragons #2) first.** In Seducing the Dragon, Evie and Bram found love in each other. Many trials have hit their clan since their mating ceremony and they've worked together to make the world a better place for Stonefire and other dragon-shifters in the UK. However, as Christmas and the Winter Solstice draws near, complications arise and Evie goes into labor. Will Bram and Evie continue their happy ending and welcome their newest child? Or, will something go wrong and fracture their family?
Jessie Donovan has sold over half a million books, has given away hundreds of thousands more to readers for free, and has even hit the NY Times and USA Today bestseller lists. She is best known for her dragon-shifter series, but also writes about magic users, aliens, and even has a crazy romantic comedy series set in Scotland. When not reading a book, attempting to tame her yard, or traipsing around some foreign country on a shoestring, she can often be found interacting with her readers on Facebook. She lives near Seattle, where, yes, it rains a lot but it also makes everything green.
This short novella from the Stonefire Dragon series updates us on Melanie's birth events while taking us through Evie's experience of giving birth. It isn't look great for Evie as she develops complications. Once again great writing brings us an engaging plot that keeps us on the edge of our seat while turning pages. Not much steam in this one, but much drama replaces it. We also get a peak at other dragons that I have a feeling will be showing up in the future in a book of their own. I'm so addicted to this continuing storyline and can't stop reading!
It's a novella so it's a short story about Bram and Evie but I loved it. I can't wait for Fergus story from clan Lochguard as well as the next story on clan Stonefire... I'll be patiently waiting for these books to come out...
The story isn't too bad. I liked the other ones in this series. It pretty much takes you through the high stress of being in labor. How the husband, wife, and friends go through all kinds of emotions.
Loved by the Dragon Stonefire British Dragons Jessie Donovan ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I receive a ACR to read and give my honest opinion in a Reveiw. I have read all of Jessie Donovan books and I have never been disappointed. When reading her books. This novella is fantastic, compelling and engaging. If you are a Dragon Lover this storyline allows you to imagine yourself as a part of the story. WOW Jessie description of a woman in labor with problems was intense and vivid I was so fixed I couldn't stop reading.
There's a new baby in the clan! Loved by the dragon is a novella in the Stonefire British Dragon Series by Jessie Donovan and it is AWESOME! I don't recommend this book as a standalone read but I would, however, highly advised you to read all the books in this series. This is a brilliant continuation of the series, Jessie continues to engage her readers with her remarkable talent, astounding imagination and unique style. The story is original, exciting, thrilling, riveting, compelling, fascinating, funny, romantic, sweet, arousing and sensual. The narrative is well written in the third person with alternating his and her points of view. The dialog is smart, snappy and flows effortlessly. The characters are fascinating, captivating, imaginative, sexy and sometimes, down right hilarious! Jessie skillfully makes this into an absolutely delightful paranormal romance filled to the brim with baby drama, suspense and romance. Oh, and did I mention hot, toe curling sex! Bram and Evie have remarkable chemistry together I love it!! This story I will treasure.
What a vivid and lifelike novella! Donovan drew me into this vivid world in a fantastic manner while adding to the intricate world that we’ve come to know throughout the series. Donovan engaged my emotions while drawing me into the world that she’s created. I found myself panicking, crying, and rejoicing alongside the characters. Honestly, I had to put it down so I didn’t burst out in tears in the lunch room at work, and it was all I could think about all afternoon. At the same time, the characters were realistic and very approachable, while remaining larger than life and completely loveable, each in their own unique way.
Donovan has definitely nailed it with this Stonefire novella. I felt like I was really there, caught up in all of the vivid action and realities of the characters that she’s brought readers back to.
Please note that I received a complimentary copy of this work in exchange for an honest review.
As Christmas and the Winter Solstice draws near, Bram and Evie are faced with complications as Evie goes into labor in this entrancing Stonefire Dragons novella.
Many trials have hit their clan since Evie and Bram’s mating and they’ve worked together to make the world a better place for all dragons but this one is more personal and the reader can’t help but get caught up in the story as they are faced with the complications that arise from a dragon-human pregnancy. The tension is spine tingling and keeps readers on the edge of their seats as Dr. Sid calls for help and anticipation builds as Bram has a special surprise for Evie. These strong captivating characters captured hearts in Seducing the Dragon and they grip the heart even harder with the emotional turmoil that flows from the pages in this fast paced, smooth flowing plot that entrances readers with suspense and excitement.
This is one exciting story as it kept me on pins and needles from beginning to end.
This book is in no way a stand-alone, but I absolutely loved getting to see this couple finally receive the gift they’ve been waiting for. The author kept true to her characters and all of my favorite personalities came along for the journey to parenthood. I enjoyed the highs and lows the author included in the birthing process and the absolute love these two have for each other. This book is a fantastic addition to the series and a holiday interlude you won’t want to miss.
Awesome story of the birth of Evie and Bram's baby. I can relate with this story so much! I so wanted to read about the outcome of Evie's pregnancy and I loved it.
I highly recommend this story, especially to all that have been following the Stonefire Dragon stories.
This is such a heart warming story, had me crying during a lot of moments in the story.
I was given this book in exchange for an honest review.
After patiently waiting it is finally here. I love anything written by Jessie Donovan but I especially love when she continues her stories. This book did not disappoint! The interaction of the characters and tease of new storylines developing keep me excited for the next chapter. Love her Dragons and cannot wait for the next! Anyone looking for a fabulous read need to start here!
Bram is back and sexier than ever, "he nipped her bottom lip. “Now, I’m not going to be gentle and make love. I’m going to eff and claim you all over again.” I love my dragonshifters I always am excited to see what they're up too. I can't wait for the next book.
I loved this story. I was so happy when Evie gave birth to her daughter. Reading how Bram is so protective of both of their children is amazing. It is a must read.
A DELIGHTFUL DRAGON CHRISTMAS !!! Title: Loved by the Dragon Series: Stonefire British Dragons Designation:Book Six of Series, Standalone Novella, No Cliffhanger Author: Jessie Donovan My Rating: FIVE HEARTWARMING STARS***** Wow! Just what the doctor ordered! Or rather what Dr. Sid of the Stonefire Dragon Clan has ordered. And what is that, you ask? A deliciously cute and delightfully heartwarming story to tickle our funny-bone and tug on our heartstrings and of course, Jessie Donovan has delivered in spades - again - a charming Christmas story filled to the brim with joy, love, loyalty, hope, friends and family. It's no secret that I'm totally addicted to Jessie Donovan's work and have loved every single book she has written. With each new release, her boundless talent and incredible imagination still astound me. Paranormal romance with handsome, hunky alpha shifters have always held a special place in my heart but I'd never read any of Jessie's work until 16 months ago when she released her first dragon-shifter story, Sacrificed to the Dragon. I was instantly smitten and the rest, as they say, is history and I'm still a loyal, devoted fan. This particular story holds a special place in my heart because it's a spin-off of an earlier release, Seducing the Dragon which was the original love story between our two protagonists, Stonefire Clan Leader Bram Moore-Llewellyn and former Department of Dragon Affairs Inspector Evie Marie Marshall who is now Evie Moore-Llewellyn and also eight and a half months pregnant with her and Bram's first biological child. Of course, the happy couple still have their beloved adopted son, Baby Murray, who will be the perfect big brother to the bundle of joy waiting to be born. And yes, we do find out whether it's a boy or girl and no, I'm not giving any spoilers! You'll just have to read the book but I can say this....Quite a few of our favorite characters make an appearance in this book including a surprise visit from newly mated Fraser MacKenzie and Holly Anderson Mackenzie who arrive just in time for the birth along with several other unexpected surprises. Nope, I'm still not giving any hints. Well, maybe one juicy little tidbit - remember, Holly was a midwife before she volunteered to be a sacrifice to Lochguard and that's all I'm saying except - this story, as is with all Jessie's books, is exceptionally well crafted, well written and well edited. The narrative is written in the third person with alternating his and her points of view from both Bram and Evie and the dialogue between Bram, his dragon, Evie and their friends will keep you stitches. And the characters are simply magnificent! Overall, it's deliciously cute, completely captivating and delightfully entertaining. Yep, it's just what the doctor ordered - a fabulous, fun-filled, heartwarming read that also gives a few moments of heart-pounding drama to keep us on our toes and reminds us how blessed and enriched our lives can become by just the simple gifts of life, love, friends and family. I laughed and I cried but by the end of the book, I was left with a big silly grin on my face. I loved it! Thank you Jessie Donovan for another wonderful story! Complimentary copy received in exchange for a review.

I started this series last week when a cover and blurb caught my attention. I had never heard of this author prior to last week, when I saw that most of the series was also offered in audio I started the one clicking! I am so very glad I did! These books are so good! The storyline of each is unique, yet as a whole they are a cohesive series. The characters are so complex yet relatable. The dragons, I love them and the audio narrator is perfect! Every time a dragon talks I smile! Best dragon shifters so far! On to book #7!
I loved it! I don't do any spoilers ever! Just let me say even though it's a short story, novella, it is full of warm fuzzy feels, but also some nail biting moments. Just the perfect read for a cold winter's night! I highly recommend this story and the whole well written series.
Loved by the Dragon (Stonefire British Dragons Book 6) by Jessie Donovan. Brams human mate Evie is nearing the birth of their baby. As she goes into labour, preeclampsia threatens. After many hours in labour their baby daughter is born but Evie goes down hill fast but the doctors manage to save her.
Revisiting Evie and Bram was lovely, especially since it's a time that their family is growing. Yet again Donovan does a great job at incorporating the rest of the clan into her books, making sure that that sense of family continues to shine in each book.
Can it get any better?! I'm all emotional and teary eye here! My favs will always be Mel and Tristan, but I did and do love Evie and Bram and getting to read about their happy New family was brilliant! Such a wonderful sweet little novella
Evie and Bram are having a baby. With all the worries that come with humans having a dragon baby. Evie is having a hard time. She has had labor pains. But she’s too early. Read to see what happens next.
I loved revisiting Beam and Evie!! During the birth of their child i was worried things would go so wrong that Evie was being written out of the story. It was wonderful to see her get her happily ever after!
There really did not have to be an short story/book primarily about the pregnancy. I think it was totally unfair to the public buying reading the books.
Evie is heavily pregnant with Brams child. Will she survive giving birth. To be honest if I’d known it was mainly about her giving birth I wouldn’t have bothered to read it.
Loved by the Dragon is book six in the series Stonefire British Dragons by author Jessie Donovan. This fast paced read will warm your heart and give you hope. It’s a sweetheart of a tale. Enjoy!!
Loved by the Dragon, book 6 of Jessie Donovan's Stonefire British Dragons is a quick read. See visit Bram and Evie again as they prepare for the birth Of their baby. It's such a touching story.
