The Code Breakers Puzzle Book: 101 Cryptogram and Word Scramble Puzzles

Rate this book
This book contains 101 (actually, a few more, but 101 sounds nice) puzzles that involve some type of encryption or concealing of messages. The messages (except the a few math puzzles) are all famous sayings or quotes. Contractions have been replaced by full words (for example, DON’T has been replaced by DO NOT and CAN’T has been replaced by CANNOT) in order to avoid apostrophes that would give away the puzzles too easily. Commas have also been removed for the same reason,There are about 57 ordinary cryptograms, where one letter is consistently substituted for another but spaces are left. There are a few cryptograms where the encryption changes with each letter. There are cryptograms where even the spaces are encrypted. There are some phrases where all (or at least, most) of the letters are scrambled. Just for diversity, there are two puzzles where it is numbers that are encrypted, not letters. For each puzzle, the answer is on the next page.
