Have you ever felt as if someone was watching you, lurking in the darkness?
Have you ever felt that chill on the back of your neck, that eerie feeling like something is wrong, terribly wrong?
I have! My name is Love, and a call I recieved at 3 am will change my life forever. On the other end of the phone, heavy breathing, and the scared voice of my brother Marcus.
"Help me!" is what he asked.
My husband, A'Men, said I shouldn't go, that it was too late. Against my better judgement, I didn't answer his call for help. Now Marcus is missing. He once spoke about the darkness.
Is it the same darkness that haunts me?
Why won't Marcus answer his phone?
Shay, Marcus's wife, said earlier that day he said something about the darkness. My concern is why isn't she really worried about his disappearance. They say Marcus is a drug addict and a drunk, But they didn't hear his voice. That scared fragile voice. He needed me, he needed my help and now I can't find him. My husband A'Men wants me to dismiss the fact that I believe something has happened.
Why does A'Men insist on giving me pills to sleep?
In my dreams, I see Marcus, or at least I think they are dreams. He is trying to tell me something. Or maybe I am still not well after my mental breakdown a year ago. Marcus is alright, he has to be. I am just tripping he will show up like always. But what about the darkness?
