After months of torment at the hands of her own clan, Charlotte is sold to a rival clan. She refuses to be claimed by a man who is known for his mistreatment of women, and so she runs. The last thing she wants, or expects to find is her mate, but that's precisely what happens. If only she could stop running long enough to take what is rightfully hers.
Better than first 2 stories in depth, action & richness in storylines. Has many more of new Clan members included, as well as segments more of the actual worlds the characters live in and some the dynamics of it. Lastly, although the ending doesn't leave you hanging or feeling as if missing big chunks of storyline, it does leave many new questions for overall series.
I have enjoyed this series I started it this morning and am getting ready to start the fourth book. To be loved and cared for by all in such a short time even when some family treatment of you is so wrong but family can be found anywhere you don't have to be BLOOD. Enjoy these books are Great!
Charlotte is running away from her brother and the man he had sold her to. Charlotte is spooked knowing dragons are close runs around a corner and straight into Jace. She is so panicked that she doesn't realize that it's her mate till later. I highly recommend this book and series.
This was an okay read. She's on the run. She runs into him. What do you know? She's his mate. She goes into heat after touching him. They meet up later in a bar. They go at it outside by his truck. She bites him, claiming him. Later. He leaves her to get a room at a Inn. She's kidnapped. He finds, and saves her. The story goes from there. Not really worth a re-read.
The latest addition of the Dragon Blood series is Jace and Charlotte's story, which is just as enjoyable as the previous installments. My only issue is with the continuity through the books. Jade's dragon was a different color in the first book.
...as Charlotte, a female dragon is running from the dragon who she was sold to. She runs into Have, her mate and runs away. Of course it doesn't take long for him to find her. Of course trouble follows.
Stella’s brother Jace discovers his mate, however, she’s running away from someone or something. Will Jace and the clan be able to save her in time? Stay tuned for all sorts of good mysteries. Enjoy!
I can't wait to read more books by this author. The characters were well developed bad a j poo y to discover. I am now in the process off purchasing more of this author books!
This short adventure pact story began with two "worlds" colliding. She is running and hiding, and his animal nature goes to protect in return receiving "benefits". 😉
While Jace and Charlotte get their HEA in this book, I feel like there is still more of the story to be told in relation to Charlotte's old clan. They may have left, but aren't out of the picture yet - at least I hope that is the case as I would really like to hear Tulia's story.
So this mate is running from a forced mating and finds Jace. It was interesting to meet another dragon clan even if they are awful. Good story and really good romance.
Amazing! I read this story so fast that it seemed like I had just started it and then it was over. But talk about page turning excitement though! I was kind of mad that the story ended and I'm definitely looking forward to reading more in this series. Oh, who am I kidding? I want to read every piece and parcel that involves these characters. I want to know how blind Maggie ended up with the dragons. Who is Fitz? Who will save Tulia? Will it be too late? What will happen to Bradley? Where are his parents? Okay, it's official. I am obsessed. I loved this book!
Jace’s story was the best so far, his story was an interesting read that gave us a little bit more background on the clan. I am still not too sure about Glen Farley being a good town to live in. There seems to be an awful lot of hunters that are always attacking the dragons. It was nice to read about Jace meeting Charlotte and that another Dragon has met his match. Charlotte seemed nice but we didn’t really get to know her much, there was not a lot of dialogue going on, too much kissing for talking. I can't wait to see if some of the others get their HEA but It seems to be a long time in between books.
Finding His Dragon was an entertaining read. The main character Charlotte a dragon on the run from her Clan. Jace an Alpha of his clan who is very protective of his people.
When they meet it's electric but they don’t have the time to get to know the other better.
The story is fast paced but well written with all the characters engaging each other smoothly throughout the whole story.
The only questionable character for me is Fitz and how does he fit in with Charlotte's brother but she doesn't know him.
Looking forward to reading more about these dragons.
Received this book for free in exchange for a honest review.
I loved this story. I'll need to read the previous one (and can't wait for more). Charlotte is on the run from her brother and the mate he sold her to. Will running one night Charlotte runs into Jace. After she gets away Jace knows that she is his mate. Charlotte can't stop thinking about the man she ran into. Jace finds her and takes her back to his Clan. Charlotte is surprised that they are such an awsome family and dreams of staying. Her brother Reyn and her almost mate Adrian attach. Big Battle (won't give any spoilers). They get their HEA. Can't wait to read more about Fitz.
This is a quick, easy read. The h literally runs into her mate trying to avoid pursuers, then she slips away from him. After going into heat, she leaves the protection of her apartment for a local bar, where she meets him again. Their dragons recognize each other as mates, but the H refuses to let his Dragon claim her while she is in heat, even as her past catches up with her.
This is Charlotte and Jace's story... she is running from her clan and the man her brother sold her to.. she runs into him but cant stay then sees him across a dance floor... nothing is easy There is a kidnapping, car crashes, and hunters using poison bullets to overcome before they can relax. I like her solution to dealing with the man who wants to claim her!
Charlotte runs into Jace, literally, and sparks begin to fly. After fleeing the mean man she was sold to by her own brother, she is leery of trusting him, but she is drawn to him...and she's in heat. What a time for that to happen! This is a very quick story that I would've loved more of, but it was still pretty darn good.
Running from her clan, Charlotte runs into Jace. Instinctively knowing that they are mates but Charlotte must keep moving. Readers will enjoy this story from Elaine Adams. Thank you
Book 3 continues to be an easy fun and steamy read. Each couple brings their own special place in the series and hopefully more additions will be coming in the future. Something to enjoy when you don't have a lot of time for yourself!
Seems really short and there isn't much of a story here. Just a paranormal "bodice ripper" which I find pointless and I don't want to waste my time right now.
If you like panting, moaning, grunting, and thrusting by 15% in the story, I guess this one is for you!
This is an action packed book. Great characters, great love, and a good battle. But I still want to know who the new man to town is! And now I have to wait for the next! Oh boy.....
This would have been a five star review if more of this wonderful world had been explored in lieu of the overwhelming amount of sexual content. Don't get me wrong, I want heat and passion, but IMHO this was overkill. The characters, storyline and writing were absolutely on pointe. I wanted MORE!
Another dragon finds his mate, but Jace doesn't realize that Charlotte is running away from her brother's plan of selling her to another dragon clan, a clan notorious for mistreating their females. A very dramatic episode.
