The Dichotomy of Christmas is an anthology filled with creepy and disturbing stories revolving around the Christmas holiday. As one who likes the darker side of - well, of almost anything, I couldn't wait to dive into this collection. It features many of my favourite authors as well as some I'd never read.
Some of my favourite stories include The Wassal by Fiona Dodwell, Ghosts of Christmas Past by Jack Rollins, Visitation Rights by Kealan Patrick Burke, The Naughty List by Matt Hickman, With These Hands by Michael Bray, and On the First Day of Christmas by Sturat Keane.
Despite loving a lot of the stories in this anthology, I gave it three stars because of the editing. Some stories contained different size fonts, the spacing wasn't uniform, and one story actually had one of the editor's notes included.
All in all, it's a great collection for a very worthy cause.
