Rate this book
After losing her beautiful mother at the age of only six, Melina lives with her father on their small farm in Devon during the 1970's. But deep in her heart is a black seed that holds a very dark secret. Seizing a chance to escape the farm aged sixteen she moves to London to live with her wealthy Aunt and Uncle who give her nothing but love and affection, but not the real help she needs so desperately.
She grows into a beautiful intelliigent woman who thinks she has left her dark secret behind, but all too soon it comes back to haunt her and feeds the dark seed already planted in her heart.
Melina meets Cassie her rich bosses American trophy wife and after an awkward start they bond to become blood sisters with both of them finding comfort and safety in each other's arms while Cassie shows Melina the rich jet set life she could have.
She realises now she must face her demons and revisits her past only to find all was not as it seemed, and what she discovers shocks her to the core.
Finally putting the past behind her she embarks on a new brighter path only to find this one also turns darker the further she goes down it.
Now as her past catches her up is she out of her depth?
Has the beautiful Melina gone just too far this time?

Hi l live in Cornwall with my family I was lucky to have fantastic parents who gave me and my sister a wonderful childhood but I also know others who were not so lucky. I started writing my first book Melina 2 years ago I have always had a vivid imagination and often wake from sleep with ideas. I wrote down some notes for this book as they came to me then did no more for weeks until eventually after more media coverage of the subject I felt compelled to start writing and get my message across.
The rest is history
This book takes the reader on an emotional rollercoaster which will make them question which of the character's are bad and which are good. The book is designed to make the reader realise that our sometimes what we see on the outside is not what is on the inside. Childhood is such an important part of who we are. It affects our adult life more than most realise and it is the base for our fears and desires through out our life which is why we need to protect not just ours but all children from the evil of others.
