The completed Untamed series in one book... I came to this cabin in the mountains to run away from my life. I wanted to be someone else for a week, someone spontaneous, adventurous. Then he broke in, the savage forest man people said only existed in myths and legends. Only this man before me was very real. Proud and fierce, his gaze was direct like a wild animal stalking his prey. He took what he wanted, and I… I willingly gave him everything. But at what cost?
Such a huge fan of June Gray now!!!!! As with my previous read Illicit I so enjoyed this one as well. Chole and Alaric were so sweet together. Alaric was just the right amount of Alpha cave man-ish and sweet and caring. On to the next read by this author. I'm hooked1
Underhållande, men inte speciellt realistisk. Jag har svårt att se hur längtan efter hångel kan vara starkare än den att fly när en främling bryter sig in ens hem...
It’s your usual “finding-my-self” caged daughter of a rich parent who found out her boring boyfriend cheated on her and thus ran away to get a clear mind, but then meets an unusual guy whom she falls in love with, and then some meddling by the parent and then you know what happens next.
But then it also tells the struggle of the male lead and how he became a caveman. Which I found nice.
Also, I was still shookt at the unexpected unabashed uninhibited sex scene at the beginning. I like the ending too.
My expectations were exceeded for what I thought the story was going to be. We get into it very quickly when we meet Chloe. She thinks she’s in for a relaxing week on her own, until she not alone. Until, Alaric. And, WOW the chemistry is scorching right off the bat! There was mystery and intrigue and spice… I enjoyed it. I read it in one sitting.
Wow, when I started this book, I thought it was just gonna be an erotic tale of love with a mountain man but boy was I wrong. I won’t give away the plot but all I can say is that it was lovely little story with lots of suspense and angst wrapped up with a sprinkling of spice. Highly recommended
When I first started reading it, I thought it would actually be a shifter story but wasn't. Either way I really enjoyed it. Although, I wish there had been more from Alaric's pov.
