Author Carl Nicita of Bakersfield, California, spent many years as a broadcaster using the name Carl Knight. He worked at several radio and television stations in New York and California. Carl later worked in public safety, retiring in 2015, from the Santa Monica, California Police Department.
Carl was born in Syracuse, New York, and recently put pen to paper, completing Booze, Broads and Blackjack — A Deadly Combination. In January 2018 Hectic Films shot a movie version of the story based on the screenplay written by Carl Nicita. Booze, Broads and Blackjack - The Movie is currently in post production status.
