Elisabetta Gnone is an Italian writer. In April 2001, she co-created the Italian comic/magazine W.I.T.C.H. with Alessandro Barbucci and Barbara Canepa. The publication was later made into the television series of the same name. Gnone also wrote the children's trilogy Fairy Oak: Il segreto delle gemelle (The Secret of the Twins), L'incanto del buio (The Spell of Darkness), and Il potere della luce (The Power of Light). She expanded the Fairy Oak Universe with four more books, "The four mysteries": "Captain Grisam's love", "Shirley's wizarding days", "Flox smiles in autumn", and "Good-bye Fairy Oak".
This one focuses on Hay Lin and includes a chinese inspired story within a story as a school play. Also some info on the origin of the Heart of Kandrakar and the W.I.T.C.H., and a comeback from Hay Lin's grandmother.
This issue was the first Christmas episode of the series and I really enjoyed reread it.
At this one the story line is focused on Hay Lin and a little bit on Irma too and it addresses a bunch of themes such as trust, communication, family and friendship.
It's really cozy and heart melting, super adequate to this time of the year.
3.5/5* not much happened apart from the fact we found out their powers' origins which was pretty cool!! also, low key but high key hay lin might be my favorite w.i.t.c.h. 👉👈
