Robotech Art 3, much like its predecessors, is the book dealing with the art work and design of the Sentinels movie and the aborted television series. It contains a lot of information in terms of character biographies, backgrounds, and concepts as well as accompanying artwork. Towards the back of the book contains an outline of the television shows story. The beginning is fairly drawn out, with individual episodes already planned, but as the story progresses farther along it becomes more of a rough sketch organized in terms of weeks . If you're looking for insight into what Harmony Gold was planning, then this is the ideal book to have. I bought it for that reason, and was very impressed with it. It's also interesting to compare Harmony Gold's official writings on the story, and contrast it with Jack McKinney and the comic books to see who did what in terms of artistic license.
