Led by Lord Covenant, the downtrodden army of peasants meets on the battlefield against Lord Rivalen's army commanded by the dark Guy DuBlanc. Soon disgusted by the bloodshed, Spawn declares the battle over. Later, Baron Rivalen meets with Spawn and tells him that his sister, the Baron's wife, has died. Downcast, Spawn then leaves Rhyll to seek his fate in the great world, oblivious that Cog had given the relic of the true cross to the son he had unknowingly sired.

Storyline is a real fantasy clichè-fest, something like Frazetta's Death Dealer (whose comic mini-series was drawn by the same artist..) meets Robin Hood and everything else passed across Holguin's mind then, but Liam Sharp's Bisley-style artworks are ☆☆☆☆☆ ones.



Not as good as I used to remember.
