Cliffhanger. 2.5 to 3 stars.

Ok, firstly my excuse for reading this book is that I'm on holiday and I didn't check, I chose a book at random from my kindle and started reading. My problem is that even though I'd obviously downloaded this I'm a little fed up with short 'to be continued' books which should be one book not one book made into several, that said its on KU so if I wanted to continue I could at no extra cost.
Now I don't watch any soaps at all but this is what I think of as a soap opera book, he's six foot five of muscle and perfection and he knows it.
***Why do I care how Piper sees me? I thought to myself. Since when had I cared what any woman thought of me? I never had to consider it. I was an ex-Navy SEAL who also happened to be the heir of a billion dollar fortune. Wondering about whether women wanted me or not was not something I ever had to ponder.
Spoiler alert: All women wanted me.
That probably makes me sound like an arrogant jerk. But it wasn’t arrogance, it was just a fact.***
I'm sorry but it was arrogance and it's not an attractive feature in a man but I suppose he's got a lot to be arrogant about including sex.
***It was a couple of hours of hard f**king before he slowed down his pace.***
Now is book is ok but predictable it was easy to work out what the cliffhanger would be and its just not enough for me I wanted more depth and development and that's one of the reasons why I've decided not to read these short books anymore but it's not the books fault I read it without checking so while for me personally this is a 2* read I'm giving 2.5 to 3* since I should have checked first and while that may sound low it's not often I give such a short book more than 3* plus I rarely give 5* and to get a 4* it has to have something special so 3* it is.
This book has 15 reviews on Amazon.com and they're all 5* so it appears it's me that missing something. (less)

Be warned it ends with a cliffhanger. ..I wasn't prepared lol

The book was suspensful and had dual POVs. The book could've been a bit shorter, it seemed every other chapter they were having sex. I don't mind a book with sex in it but it the amount in this book was like wow. When they weren't having sex Atlas was saving Piper from an abusive relationship. ......but is there more to the story? Of course there is. I won't spoil but let's just say Atlas and Piper are in the fight for their lives. As the story goes on it got more intriguing.

I hope I can read the second installment soon...I would like to know what happens.

Alison Ryan has the greatest ability to go way over the top with her books. I started out reading Mentor, then Mogul and finally ATLAS. If these books are any indication of how awesome she writes, she has a fan with me for life. I loved all three of these books and want to read more. They kept me on the edge of my seat throughout each read. These stories not only had hot, hot sex and romance but there was a heavy edge of danger with every turn of each page. Can't wait for ODIN to come out next.

Cliffhanger book. I hate cliffhanger books. But to be fair, this was a good book..if only it hadn't been a cliffhanger. Apparently "book" 2 finishes "book" 1. Ok, all that being said, I really enjoyed this bit of the story. It's about a former seal (Atlas) that is asked by his dad to protect Piper from an abusive ex boyfriend. And then complications happen. Will I read "book" 2? Yes because I was really enjoying Atlas and Pipers story.

Piper has gotten herself into a bad situation and her stepfather is trying to help her out.Pipers ex has abused her and refuses to let her go.She thinks she is safe with Atlas but her ex has found her.I cannot wait to find out what comes next.

Awesome alpha male and a girl in trouble? What's not to love, right? Atlas and Piper's story is going to be epic, I can just tell. The cliffhanger makes me glad that the next book is already out so I can start reading it right now.
