I really like the Talbots of Harbour Island and couldn't wait for the next episode.
I love romantic, love stories that end with great fairytells. Savannah Carrington and Edward Talbot are no different, they belong together. Edward is all man, a "alpha" man coming from good stock and Savannah just wasn't going to live in his reality. Edward adores his daughter and couldn't see his life without her in it and then realized......
Great story line, fast-past. When we read novels that give us a realistic storyline it's great. Savannah longed for her mother who left her life at a young age an vowed not to do the same for her daughter. I beleive a woman in particulary is affected for life without the love, nutring and care of her mother in her life.

Edward and Savannah
Baggage. Savannah had a prominent career and grew into a great woman, who devoted her life to having a strong relationship with her daughter, Chloe, unlike the relationship between her in her mother. Her ex Edward forced to live with the errors of choosing career over family, had to live with the thought of never having his family. Yet, with faith, a trip to Jamaica and the trip to Paris for Savannah, life and love thrust the two back together.

I have tried to read this book more than three times
Started it again today, read three chapters then a couple in the middle, then the last two.
This story just did nothing for me!

Well written and beautiful told by both main characters, Savannah and Edward. I was able to feel the conflicts and pain of Savannah's character and all the difficult decisions she had to make regarding quitting her job (as a fashion designer and moving to London to take care of her Mom and taking Chloe)...I also felt the pain and remorse of Edward and he continually love her...also Edward's family was so loving and supportive! highly recommended!

Insight on how divorced parents, Savannah Carrington and Edward Talbot, co-parent. Their marriage failed due to Edward's political ambition; he didn't put enough effort into his marriage and family.
Savannah now has her own career and even though she still loves Edward she's thinking about a career choice that will take her out of the country. She also needs to resolve issues with her own mother.
