The Watch Tower Bible and Tract Society of Pennsylvania is a nonprofit corporation formed in 1884 under the laws of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, U.S.A. It is used by Jehovah’s Witnesses to support their worldwide work, which includes publishing Bibles and Bible-based literature.

According to its charter, the corporation’s purposes are “religious, educational, and charitable,” in particular, to “preach and teach the gospel of God’s Kingdom under Christ Jesus.” Membership in the corporation is by invitation only and is not based on how much a person has donated. The corporation members and directors assist the Governing Body of Jehovah’s Witnesses.

Awesome experiences of our brothers and sisters around the world! Incredible how some people have recognized the truth from just one visit or even just reading publications that have either been left with them or they have been given. Must read!!

I live in Indonesia. The Indonesian brothers and sisters in this book (included the cover page) are mostly my friends. I can say that this 2016 yearbook is really touching my heart and help me personally to keep focused in truth. Thank you Jehovah, this is the best gift I've got this year!

"Jehovah Surpassed our Expectations" this expression and chapter has to be my favorite in the 2016 Yearbook experiences of the friends in Indonesia, a land rich in history, an amalgamated cohesion of Christianity and Islam; now ripe and rich for preaching. I envisioned each struggle, victory, heavy hearted departure and tearful reunion. How encouraging that we get to see the big picture year after year as we watch Jehovah continue to spread and wrap up this great work.

I try to read the yearsbooks slowly, but it's the second year in a row I read it in one sitting. Amazing, as always.

The information on the JW Broadcasting, Warwick construction update, and public witnessing arrangements were very enjoyable to read. What touched me the most was on page 30 with the listing of the languages that the editions of the New World Translation were released in. That with the detailed account of the growth of the Good News in Indonesia and the language barriers bridged in those islands were over 700 languages are spoken. On page 156, the translation accomplishments of God's people are listed in Indonesia. This fit well into the recent "Awake" magazine on translation the Bible into the language of the heart of so many people that had been previously left out.

Jesus said The Good News of the Kingdom would have to be preached throughout the earth, by His true Christians, before He would clean up the earth. This book gives many experiences of this work and how its being done. Very encouraging to see so many people and countries benefitting from Bible Education.

Really prepared me to think about when persecution and ban will break out where I live. I hope to be as strong as my brothers and sisters in Indonesia were in times past. I also loved all the experiences of how our preaching and teaching work is being done throughout the earth with Jesus and Jehovah's hand definitely seen.

How amazing it is to read about the progress made in a land as diverse as Indonesia! 707 languages is daunting, but these accounts show how all things are possible. I especially loved the account about the assembly held in the Nias language and how happy the locals were to hear their own language.
