I saw this on a blog tour and decided to give it a try. This novella had me hooked from the start! Who wouldn't love a Cinderella/Shape shifter story? Alpha Carrick believes he met his mate years ago during a harrowing rescue. The problem is, now he can't find her. At the gathering, a ball set up for the alpha male to find his female, he finally sees her again. Her tell: when she gets nervous, a whisker pops out.
The writing made it easy to immerse yourself into and get lost in the story. I love how the girls at the coffee shop are great friends and all get along. It seems like a cool place to work. This union of wolf and cat has me intrigued. I can't wait to read more.

I got this story in exchange for an honest review. This is a short story that moves very fast. From the very beginning, it sucks you right in and has you holding your breath waiting to see what’s lurking around the next turn or coming directly for you. From the overthrow of a tyrannical alpha to the rebuilding of the pack and the new alpha finding his mate, story sets you up for a roller coaster ride. Everyone has an event in their life that must be worked through and this is no different for the two main characters and a couple of the secondary characters as well. I liked that this story didn’t drag out to explain what was going on, who everyone was, and where he or she fell into this story. By the end of the story, you have enough of a buildup for the next story without being left in a ridiculous cliffhanger. I look forward to the next story in this series!

Carrick is a werewolf who,with the help of his pack kills the evil alpha Justin. During the battle he sees a young woman who is being held captive with his sister. Instantly he realizes she is his mate but when the dust settles she is gone as is Justin's second in command. Several years later Carrick has to find a mate or resign as pack leader. Only the mysterious kitten will do but first he must find her...
This was an exciting and fast paced read. I loved the characters and the story line. Ms Bishop paints such lovely pictures with her words really immersing you in the tale. This is a werewolf story you will not want to miss!

Oh my, this was much too short. I was into this novella from page one. What a wonderful spin on an old fairy tale. Shifters with drama and a quickie in the mix. The characters were well written. The first part was just right, yet the ending felt a bit rushed. Still a fun fast read. I was given this story for an honest review and this is mine.

Problem is that mate he found 6 years ago, well she disappeared and he'll have no other and there are many to pick from.
Sage has worked very hard to stay off the radar since she was rescued 6 years ago and so far so good she even runs a very lucrative coffee shop. Only one thing out of the ordinary ever happens to her and only when cinnamon man walks in and her whisker pops out. She wants to keep it that way, but she is duty bound by pack law to attend a gathering where the Alpha of Westmore Wolves is to pick 1 of the many, many she wolves vying to be the alpha female. Not her though, she just wants to get this over with until her whisker pops out that is.....

I was given a copy exchange for my honest review
This was a quick read but it did not disappoint. Carrick Who is the Alpha of the pack has been searching six years for his mate the one he let get away. And all he can remember about her is whiskers and cinnamon. The story starts off with Carrick rescuing his sister and in all places he finds his mate in the same cell with his sister.. But in all the chaos he loses sight of his mate.. So six years six years of searching and finding nothing in six years of the gathering where the Alpha must find his mate and Carrick has had enough either finds his mate or he steps down as Alpha those are the rules those are the law..
Sage a coffee shop owner and bistro loved her work loved her friends and loves her adoptive family she's a cat shifter in a wolfs world. Sage has dodged the gathering for many years but this year is mandatory for her to be there this year, so what's a girl got to do is tuck tail bite her tongue show up and hope to god she doesn't have to stay..
I like sage she's tough strong smart and sassy. Everything I love to see in the main female character

Carrick has to make a choice. Its pack law. He must choose a mate at this year's Gathering. He is not looking forward to all the gold digging she-wolves how just want him for his title. Not that he wants any one of them. Years ago he helped over throw his Alpha who ran the pack with more than iron fist. He work kidnap any of those who opposed him and one night Carrick lost his sister. When rescuing her and all the other women that had been taken, he found mate. She disappeared and he didn't even know her name. After all these years, Sage is bound to attend the Gathering and she is just as unhappy about going as Carrick. They may just run into each other while both are trying to avoid the whole mess.
I really enjoyed this book. It has a great plot and I enjoyed getting to know the characters. I would have liked a lot more history and details about each character though. I received a copy of this book from the author and Romance Authors That Rock, in exchange for an honest review. This book is a super quick romantic read with a touch of sex and an HEA. The main plot revolves around werewolves with the exception of Sage. She is all…meow and kick-ass. Loved her character, especially her quirks. You can’t help rooting for Carrick in hopes that he finds Sage. I liked the mention of other supernatural beings. It made things interesting. There is a lot of background info jamb packed into this book explaining the situation within the wolf pack. I think Ms. Bishop did a great job with explaining the wolf hierarchy without overwhelming the story. I never felt lost or unsure of what was happening. There are a few mistypes, but nothing a little editing can’t fix. The downside of the book...it’s too short and because of that the ending felt rushed, but I enjoyed it. This story sucked me in and I wanted more. I read a lot of paranormal romance and this was right up my alley, loved it and it easily gets (5) hearts from me. I recommend this book for 18+ due to mature content.

Love it!. Full of suspense, romance, and hot, sexy scenes it will have you hooked from the first sentence. Carrick is a wolf shifter and the pack alpha. He must find his mate or lose the pack alpha status. Trouble is he already met her years ago but can't find her. He doesn't know her name. Sage is recovering form her time as a captive. She has to shore up at the event for the alpha to pick his mate but it's nervous. Little did she know she is about to meet her fate. Can they save the pack and come together?. The great story will not let go of its hold on you. I can't wait to see if there are any more stories for this wolf pack.

Meeting the one person you are destined to be and then within a few minutes lose them is the most disheartening feeling. Six years later having a second chance reveals more for Carrick who is also about to lose being Alpha.
Passions heat in matter of minutes and a kingdom is saved. Though it may have been right under their noses Carrick and his mate never knew healing would take so long.
I loved the intense build and the rapid fire that flared between the characters. I receive this copy n exchange for an honest review. You'll love it too.

Oh my goodness! I love Sage, she is now a strong independent woman/kitty. Years before when she was young and weak she was captured by her alpha and she was marked by the second to be his mate, but that wasn't her plan. She has moved on, changed her name and now has her own bakery. The alpha of the pack is requesting all single females to come to his estate to find a mate. She wants to get this obligation done and back to her life. This is where she sees the muffin guy and he happens to be the alpha, Carrick. I can't tell you anymore, you have to read it yourself. So happy to have found Erzabet Bishop and can't wait to read another book of hers!

I was given this story for an honest review.
I was surprised at the length of the story. Judging just from the prologue it seemed like a much longer story. There was a lot in this story without it seeming to rushed.
That being said the story for the hero and heroine was complete with an inner connection left open to finish in the series.
This was a well written short story, that didn't leave the characters too shallow. It also dealt with some topics that most stories don't even come close to.
I can't wait for the rest of the series.

Like a perfectly brewed cup of tea, this book hit the spot for a sexy, paranormal fun read, with unique characters. Loved seeing Sage find her grown and rock her own alpha role, along with seeing Carrick hold out for her and have no problems with making his claim when he finally tracked her down. Good humor and sexy times ahead.

An ARC was given to me for an honest review. She has no choice, she must be there, it's mandatory. He must choose a mate. He has no choice, it's pack law. He knows he has a mate, he just has to find her again. She would love to see the gray eyed wolf from six years ago who saved her. This is a quick fun entertaining read. Enjoy I did.

If you like paranormal stories here's a good one for you. It starts out with a lot of action but with a sad undertone. The characters are great and with so much going on it looks like there could be a whole lot more stories.

This short story is a good read. It is a feel good read. You can't help having a smile on your face at the end of the story.
Sage was held captive by the Alpha of the pack she was a member of. He was abusive to all his members and when someone wouldn't do what he wanted, he would kidnap their wives and daughters until they complied. There was another girl in her cell that she clicked with and her friend's father and brother is the one who came and killed the Alpha and freed the women. She was part of the wolf pack, but she was a feline, so she didn't always participate in pack happenings. Until she was required to attend. The reigning Alpha had to find his mate this year or loose his place as Alpha, so all unmated females had to go the Gathering.
Carrick and his father fought the insane Alpha that had kidnapped most of the women in the pack, including his sister. He sees he father die at the hands of the Alpha as he was fighting the second-in-command. While he is fighting, he catches the eye of a female that is with his sister and he could smell her scent and he realizes that she is his mate. So he knows that he has to win this battle to protect his mate. After he wins the battle, the females are released and he looses his mate. For six years he has been looking for his mate but can't find her. He knows that if he doesn't find his mate by his thirty-sixth birthday he will no longer be Alpha, but he won't take just anyone to hold the title. He wants his mate. He does find comfort when he goes into town to the bakery, because the scent reminds him of his mate.

Great start to a series!^ years before the start of the story, Carrick and his dad, Mosul overthrew the pervert abusive alpha, Justin to save Jess, Carrick's sister. They found other women held captive and rescued them also. During that time, Carrick scented and saw the partially shifted woman he recognized as his mate. During recovery, he lost track of her. Carrick brave and honorable saddled with a burden of being a hot backelor. Sage, a survivor of a horrific set of events, living her better life keeping a low profile. She avoided the pack and all its activities and hadn't been back to pack lands since Carrick took over. Carrick must select a mate to share Alpha leadership before his 36th birthday or forfeit his leadership. Sage afraid of discovery by Michael the thug who got away changed her name and as much of her appearance as possible. Carrick, incognito visited the bakery for muffins every morning. He didn't recognize or scent Sage. She noticed his scent as similar to her rescuer. Her whisker popped. The story gets interesting from there. The setup is awesome! The characters introducted make you impatient to hear their stories. Ms Bishop did an excellent job. Well done! I received an ARC from Booksprout for a review.

Carrick becomes alpha when he kills the villainous and evil former alpha who had kidnapped women and held them prisoner. Among those women he finds his mate, but before he can get to know her name, she's disappeared. Six years later, he still hasn't found her. That's because Sage has been running her own coffee shop and avoiding pack functions, since the evil sidekick is still out there and looking for her. In order to stay alpha now that he's 36, Carrick needs to find a mate. So they have a "gathering" and all female pack members are invited, among whom Carrick needs to choose. Sage may not be a wolf shifter, but she's still adopted pack, so she goes. When Carrick finds her, he knows she's his mate, but the evil sidekick shows up...
This was too short I think. I was intrigued by some of the rules of the pack and this starts out with some pretty great adventure. I also enjoyed Sage's quirky "whisker-popping." Still I was a little unconvinced how Carrick could have been face-to-face with Sage for years and not know who she was (and vice versa). I also feel like this ended rather abruptly. This needed an epilogue or something.

Sage and Carrick was such a great story. You have Carrick that becomes the alpha by defeating there old alpha Justine. The wolf was such terrible leader he kid napped females from there family if her family defied him. And that’s what happened to Carrick when he stole his sister. In the fight to free everyone Carrick lost his father and found his mate a feline shifter. But they became separated and for many years he looked for her and could not find her. Now it’s 6 years later and Carrick must chose a mate or he must give up being the alpha. What will Carrick do when he finds out that Sage was always right under his nose

Well written story full of action, trauma, humour and steamy romance
This was an exciting series opener full of so many goodies, I really couldn't put it down until it was done. It's a shorter read, but its got action galore, sizzling chemistry off the charts, some serious 'mistaken identity' and the quirkiest whisker in town ;) The characters had tons to over come and carry their scars both inside and out. I love that Sage carved a successful life for herself despite her trauma, and really, so did Carrick. I really enjoyed getting sucked into this story and I look forward to more to come.
