Jedi Master Luke Skywalker and the soldiers of the New Republic were able to pull off a last-second evacuation of some of the civilian refugees from Artorias, but for Finn Galfridian it was too little, too late. Finn's mother and sister have been taken prisoner by the Vong, and his father was left behind with a delaying force to allow the refugees to escape.

"I didn't like it / It was okay." - 1.5 star rating, with a round up to a 2.
This is not the delivery of the Yuuzhan Vong that you are looking for.
The incredible experience of the nineteen (19) true New Jedi Order aka the Yuuzhan Vong War book series, is beyond amazing. I have gone through the series twice (so.. 38 books!) throughout my lifetime... and would be totally down to go through a round 3 again one day.
These comics however... depict a version of the Vong that do not do them justice at all. This sits in a weird place that feels like "for-kids", versus sci-fi horror that made the actual Vong series so special within Star Wars, which outside of this single 19 book spread is mostly lighthearted and kid friendly. This was the one place too dark for Disney to ever go it always felt like, but to see them dumbed down into He-Man caliber of villainy just feels so so wrong.
Go with the books and add these comics to your "Can Skip" list.
