A good book in examining the life of foreign domestic helpers in Hong Kong and the impact on them as well as their left behind families. In gives a holistic view on the issue, from the perspective of the helpers, their families alongside with the relevant policy. The issue is far more complicated than I thought and it unveil sad stories for both the helper themselves and their families.
