Can true love defeat a decade apart, a dozen lies, and one dangerous enemy?
Rachel:
I never could have imagined in a million years back then that Knox would save me but he did. All I can remember from that awful time years ago is that if he hadn't come along when he did...it makes me sick just to think about it. At the time, I knew that I would leave and never see him again and I'd never find a way to repay him for what he had done for me. So I gave him the most precious gift that I had to give ...
Knox:
If you would have asked me back then would I have spent a decade searching for some random woman I'd met on a train; a beautiful woman with equally beautiful, different-colored eyes, I would have told you that you were crazy. No, better yet, I probably would've said you were more than f**king crazy, more like certifiably insane. I can't explain it but when she looked at me with that pain in her eyes, she trapped the hell out of my heart. And after what happened that night, that amazing night we shared on that train, I could have easily spent the rest of my life looking for her, if only to get to touch her one more time.
Having read all of Micah and Knox's story, this was a great surprise bonus from Lisa Ladew. This prequel gives us all the details of their first meeting on the train. So while we got the bare bones description in the main series, this allowed us to see just why Micah fell in love with her rescuer Knox. Great addition to the series!
I loved this prequel to the series! It was perfect in providing the details needed to better understand the events leading up to Knox and Micah's steamy romance! Great beginning to a great series!
Lisa Ladew just keeps on winning the book game. This was brilliant! I was a nervous wreck when she was trying to get free. I had to literally take a break to calm myself. I haven't read all of the others yet, but if they are as good as the prequel, I'm a happy lady. This author earned herself a serious fan. Five stars, two thumbs, and a toe is my rating of her. I don't think I've ever given an author a toe before. First time for everything.
Edit: Yep, the rest of the kink books are phenomenal. I'm on a quest to read every book she ever wrote. Thank you KU!
I really like this story. I had started it as an excerpt and had to finish it. Then I thought I found it but it was the next book so I stopped - I didn't want to ruin the story line before I had the background information. I love it. I hope they get together. I can't wait to read next story now. I would recommend the this book but make sure you are ready to continue the story.....
The Billionaire's Secret Kink Prequel: The Rosesson Brothers series
The story of when Knox and Mira first meet. Here you learn Mira's real name and how she and Knox met. You can read this before Billionaire's Kink books 1 - 4 or box set. Great story, it should be add to the box set.
I love prequels they give you that little bit more to the story and having read Micah and Knox's story, this is a bonus. Here we find out the real person behind the name and how she met a man that could ease all her fears and worries. But with lies, deceit and fear will they ever find a way together? Do you ever forget the one who got away?
The Billionaire's Secret Kink Prequel (Alpha Private Security #0.5) by Lisa Ladew – That was an adventurous train ride for sure. I’m going to have to go read the novel too! Happy Reading!
This was a quick little novelette of two people on the train. A lovely short bit of smut to read when you dont have much time. I thought this book would be horrible but it was actually pretty okay!
I know this might be crazy to some people but I had already read the first book to this series and when I found out that there was going to be a prequel I was so happy because I honestly enjoyed reading the first one.
Knox turns twenty one in a few months and he can't stand the fact that by then he would still be working for his father, he doesn't exactly have the best relationship with him which is why when he is doing this assignment for work he can't wait to prove himself plus get away from his dad for a few days. The last thing that he was expecting was to meet such a beautiful women who he thinks he might have a connection with.
Rachel (real name known as Marjorie) hasn't exactly had the best bringing up because when her mother died a few years back things didn't exactly turn out great for her. Her eighteenth birthday is the next day and because she is still a virgin her father and a man known as Dick Bailey think that it's alright for her to be abused in such away. Whilst she was in her room for the whole day she hasn't been allowed to eat anything but when it comes to her attention that she will be able to leave her room for dinner and eat at the table she knows for a fact that something is going to go wrong. At first she starts to feel a little funny but when she realises that she's been drugged she can't believe how bad things actually are for her and wishes that there was a way to escape from everything she is going through.
When Rachel does wake up she notices that she is no longer in the house and that she is currently on a train heading somewhere. She tries her hardest to wriggle out of the wheelchair that she has been tied to but it's no use up until she manages to slowly break through all the knots whilst Dick is trying to sleep.
After a chance sighting of Rachel, all Knox wants to do is get to know her better but when he notices a man go and sit near her and then tries to hurt her he can't contain his anger because he thinks that no women should have to go through that. Knox tries his hardest to reassure Rachel that he can help her if she needs it and attempts to sort Dick out but as soon as he even tries Dick ends up running away. What will be the outcome of Dick, will he get what he deserves. Will Rachel ever be free from Dick and what will occur between Rachel and Knox.
Trust me when I say that this is such a hot and steamy read. I am so glad that I could read this book. Lisa Ladew has done an amazing job with this collection and if you do have the chance to read it you won't be sorry.
A Review of The Billionaire's Secret Kink Prequel by Lisa Ladew
Awesome start to a new series - 5 stars
I just recently found this author and I have to say I am LOVING her writing! This series focuses on Knox and the girl he met on a train. This prequel takes us back ten years to when they first met. We know her name as Marjorie when we first meet her, but she tells Knox her name is Rachel (since that is the name on her ticket).
This is a hard story to read, due to the nefarious actions of the step father to sell her into slavery. However, I was pleased that it was only a very small part of the story and that she was able to use her brains and get away from him.
After a couple of days of talking and eating together, she decides to give Knox the one gift that she has before she starts her life on her own terms. What happens to her in the next ten years? And, what does Knox go through to find her? I am looking sooo forward to the rest of this story.

This short prequel from the Kink series is set on a train where the two young f/m leads meet ten years ago. Knox Rosessen is reluctantly working security for his hated father's firm and Marjorie Scott has been boarded drugged and tied to a wheelchair by her vicious 'surrogate' father, Dick Bailey. When Knox intervenes and Bailey escapes, the young couple get close for the remainder of the journey. The secrets between them leave a lot of questions that aren't answered in this introduction. Found this free along with the first book, very dubious to read because of the title, (expected another bdsm theme...yawn), although there is some first time sex, it's not kinky yet!!
I picked up this book to find out what a this "billionaire" stuff was about in the Romance/Sex books. After reading this book I still do not understand but I can see the attraction to womankind. To be clear, when I read Romance, it is usually historical and doesn't include a lot of vivid sex but it is implied.
I will say that the writing in this book is good. The characters, although I sense are more clearly fleshed out in later books, leave a lot to be desired. The author touches on quite a few story lines which makes reading the later books almost mandatory. I will add the author describes the surrounding and actions with flair.
Another great book from Lisa. I really enjoyed reading the backstories of Knox and Rachael. Throughout the series we learn that Knox can't stand his father and the starts at an early age. The reader also learns of Rachael's troubled teenage years. The instant chemistry between Knox and Rachael is undeniable. I really recommend reading this series. I received this book from the author in exchange for an honest review.
Having read the 4 part series, "Billionaires Secret Kink" I was pleased to see the author had written a prequel.
In this prequel, Lisa details the story of Knox and Mira's first meeting on the train. I enjoyed the dual points of view and the depth that the author gives us of this couple.
Read the series, it is awesome

I enjoyed this short story that begins the story of Knox and Micah. What Micah nearly went through on top of the betrayal from her supposedly family kept me on the edge of my seat. Knox came to the rescue though and started there real story that comes along. Looking forward to reading the rest and see how this couple grow.
This prequel provides additional details to Knox and Rachel's first meeting that are not contained in the serial. It's a good read, setting the tone for their story. And the best way to read Knox's story is the box set, the complete story. I've read it and am looking forward to book two.
Was recommended to read these book by some of the girls in the authors facebook group. Wasn't sure at first when I read what the book was about but once I started reading I could stop. Loving this series so far.
Woooohoooo this is a wonderful way to start a series. I am so glad that I read this before reading the rest of the series. Knowing how Knox's story begins
Wow amazing, awesome read, really want to cry when Marjorie woke up, was glad Knox was still on the train, had enough suspense and you didn't know what was going to happen when you turned the page. Can't wait to read the rest of the series.
Very good prequel. I enjoyed it and thought the story was well developed. The prequel definitely had you wanting more from Knox and Rachel/Majorie. I was not happy how it ended of course but that is why it is a prequel and the rest is in the whole story of the Billionaire's Secret Kink Series.
