ONE WOMAN ...

Jane Plainfield had never won anything before, and now she wished she never had! After all, what was a girl who's afraid of the water going to do with a boat? Or more important, what was she going to do with the man who came with it?

AND HER MAN?

Peter Johnson had never met a woman as feisty, independent and lovable as Jane. She didn't seem to want to step outside of her small cafe and experience new things, but Peter was determined to show Jane that her life was missing something - namely him!

This was a nice sweet read. h/H meet when heroine wins a boat which the hero and his company has built. The hero is in town to find his stepmother niece. h/H spend time together mainly at the hero's behest as the heroine is busy running her cafe and is generally wary of gossip and men after her horrid divorce. This was a sweet romance. The hero feels this instant connection with the heroine and wants to pursue her. He is open about his feelings and even asks her to marry him while she is gun-shy. Even the mystery of the missing niece is resolved. A nice read.
