My Broken Luna
"Stop. Stop, please." I sob as the whip comes down on my back once more.
"Shut up yo-" my tormentor's words are cut off by a ferocious growl. I sense another masculine figure in the darkroom, but can't make out a word he's shouting. The burning and searing pain that I'm experiencing are just too much.
A sickening snap is heard and something drops onto the cold, stone flooring. The chains around my wrists and ankles are broken along with the tight metal collar around my neck. "Mate." my rescuer growls, gently cradling me in his arms.

Absolutely brilliant storyline from start to finish, its emotional and has its ups and down.
Evelyn is deffo the best character in my opinion.
It was wholesome and heartbreaking especially seeing the little steps she makes to overcome her trauma with food, her needs, and behaviour.
Would have been nice to see more of the pack dynamics in a good way rather than mainly focusing on the negatives in xanders pack (her old pack can burn) as i felt it showed the pack in a negative light mostly.

I like this book because of the supernatural in it. I love the world of werewolves. This story about the family coming back together or at least the brother and sister. I love the story of this girl who went through so much and goes from being abused to having a real nice life with a mate an a brother. It was interesting reading about a girl that went through something as bad as that then going to a loving caring home and living a normal life. I love this book and I love the author.
