If you had told me there was an Alien(s) comic with ninjas I would have laughed. I would have laughed even harder if you had told me Mozart (really!) was in it as well. And if you had told me they all would combine to create an enjoyable read, I'd probably would have had milk spewing from my nostrils by that point. Yet, that's exactly what Aliens: Music of the Spears actually is! And its inversely awesome as the (otherwise) nonsensical title (premise) would suggest otherwise!

Much like great art, great Hip-Hop can fuse disparate sounds (ideas) into a cohesive piece that is not only enjoyable but, greater than the sum of its parts. Take, for example, Kayne West's, Hell of a Life, off of My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy. It unites a heavy metal sample (Black Sabbath's Iron Man) with Hip-Hop sensibilities to create a satisfying sonic experience that leaves out ears tingling long after the track fades out.

A similar fusion of diverse sources, literary and otherwise, tie together the enjoyable read that is Aliens:Music of the Spears. Ninjas, Classical Music, and extraterrestrials, all play important roles in a story that is surprisingly cohesive. With the typical splattering of blood and guts, it nuzzles perfectly against other stories in this (expanded?) universe.

To describe a single iota more of this story would do a great disservice to such a spectacularly splendid (un-reviewed too!) gem!

Read and be amazed!

Two thumbs up!

Honestly, I'm not exactly sure why this woman is surprised about the fact that this guy betrayed him. He has sacrificed many different animals and other humans to this xenomorph, so of course he was gonna get to you at some point, but of course, your dumbass couldn't figure that out all because "Errrrrm, RESEARCH!". That's how all the dumb ones die. And speaking of dying, the xenomorph ended up killing the main guy too, and escaping his cage. That seems like it's gonna be a problem, but nothing that we need to worry about, because this series is now over!.......... what do you mean there's one issue left?
