Things aren't looking particularly rosy for Corrigan, Lord Alpha of the Brethren. Just when he'd thought that Mack was going to be his forever, she dumped him front of half the Otherworld leaders. With the growing threat of the necromancer, Endor, to deal with, not to mention his turbulent feelings concerning the fiery, red-headed dragon, Corrigan is going to have a lot on his plate.
This is the fifth and final book in the Corrigan series, re-telling the events of Bloodlust from Corrigan's point of view.
A fitting end to the combined series of Corrigan & Blood Destiny.
A truly good HEA.
It's amazing though cause you already knew most of what was going on from Blood Lust, but getting Corrigan's POV just added so much more to my enjoyment of both series.

Corrigan Lust
66 points/100 (3 ½ stars/5)
Once again, Corrigan Lust is essentially Bloodlust, just from Corrigan's perspective. Somehow, though, it is much more emotionally powerful than the original counterpart. There is absolutely no surprises in this book. Even the "surprise" we got from the original (which really wasn't a surprise).
See, even if I hadn't read the original series, I would have known Mack was pregnant. It is so obvious when Corrigan and his sister are talking about babies randomly for no reason at all, you know? And then, what is this surprise? Mack is pregnant? Shock.
At the very least, throughout this series, we learn why Corrigan is so quick to suggest what happens at the end of the book. This entire series was basically the blueprint for explaining away that extremely quick, extremely "what the hell just happened?" ending. The ending itself was a million times better, too. We actually got an ending that was at least moderately satisfying. Even if it was still quick.
If you're a fan of Harper's 'Blood Destiny' series, this retold version from Corrigan's POV is definitely worth the $4.95 for all 5 installments.
She managed to weave the story told (mainly from Mack's POV) in the original series while giving us a more in-depth, rounded story when paired with Corrigan's POV.
What a wonderful series. This last book made me cry!!!! Ok it also made me laugh and cheer for my Mages, Shifters and Dragons lol.
There is nothing that I did not like about the series as a whole. Loved everything about it. There is not a dull boring moment in this series. I have experienced other authors who drag out writing about everything that is surrounding the characters, like building and rooms etc. This author gives you the necessities and gives you the story. I felt as if I were literally standing there in their arguments, they’re bickering and they’re triumphs, as well as the sadness. That is what an author is suppose to do, transport you into another world, life, adventure!!! This author did just that.
What an awesome character Mackenzie is. THey all are.... Corrigan, Leah, Aubrey, Belize, Staines, Tom, Lucy, Betsy, and Floride and who can ever forget Solis, the Arch Mage and the Summer Queen and all the others!!! You will definitely find your favorite and never be bored of any of them. You’d want to kill some on your own 🤣
The ending was perfect!!!!! 📚 📚📚📚📚
Will definitely have to read other books by this author for sure.
‘(This relives) the Blood Destiny series timeline, through the eyes of Corrigan. (-> Corrigan Fire runs parallel to Blood Fire) Corrigan may have only just started in his role as Head of the Brethren, the de-facto rulers of the country’s shifters, but it’s already clear he’s not going to be in for an easy ride. Between brutal deaths in both Cornwall and London to deal with, alongside a certain curious were-hamster who has far more strength, power and mouth than should be possible, he’s got his hands full. He thought his greatest desire was to modernise the shapeshifter world – but that may be starting to change…’
Corrigan Lust is the fifth book in the Corrigan Series by Helen Harper is a witty, fast-paced dive into the shifter world – brimming with charm, danger, and just the right dash of sass. Corrigan himself is the perfect mix of cunning strategist and reluctant hero, all while navigating political intrigue, supernatural threats, and the occasional absurdly risky heist. The banter is sharp, the action is addictive, and the world-building is entirely immersive. Smart, snarky, and seriously fun - like Sherlock Holmes meets Underworld, with a splash of humour. Happy Reading…
"Corrigan Rage" is the fifth and final book in Helen Harper's "Corrigan" series. Heartbroken over Mack's actions at the end of the previous book, Corrigan attempts to get over her, but fails miserably. The best he can do is to try to make her jealous so that he can figure out her feelings. Unfortunately for him he can't change her mind until the necromancer is taken care of and maybe just maybe they can both step down from their positions of power so that they can be together. Overall, I enjoyed reading this concluding novella. Corrigan's point of view puts the Blood Destiny series into perspective. I also enjoyed the epilogue at the end of this novel. I would really love to find out more about the characters featured in it in a future series.
I personally think this is the best of the 5 Corrigan volumes. I recommend reading it in parallel with Bloodlust (Blood Destiny series) to get the full picture. Corrigan comes across super sweet and alpha at the same time in this volume. There are some interesting questions for the reader like, will somebody important die, will they get together, what will happen with the side characters. Even though the author tight up the ends quite nicely, there is still room for new stories, maybe about different characters like origin stories or others. It's certainly worth reading more books written by Helen Harper.
I 💘 loved The Blood series with Mackenzie. Reading this version from Corrigan's view point was very interesting!! I liked that it's the same but thru a different perspective. Also, I wanted to re re re-read the The Blood series but I have to buy them. I thought I had but it turns out the 7 series aS the first book of several different stories. Corrigan 's is in the read for free via kindle unlimited so I read those. Now to buy the others- which I have read several times as I just loved them!!
Corrigan’s heartbroken and more than annoyed over Mack’s latest betrayal (publicly dumping him after taking part in a secret vote), during the meeting about Endor, a necromancer seemingly intent on taking over the otherworld and thereby the world. On a tangent and in a temper, Corrigan goes his own way until he gets the answers he’s been seeking.
This reader isn’t sure if it’s fortunate or unfortunate to be giddy over the end of this series. Never a fan of the FMC, it’s probable I got all that was intended from the reads. Rating: 2.75stars
Okay, the Bloodfire series was so good, I couldn't resist this alternate perspective series for the same story. And it's fantastic! You get a unique story that intertwines with the bloodfire series, and you get all the fantastic perspective you could want from Corrigan. It's a light-hearted and exciting read.
I've enjoyed reading this series from both Mack and Corrigan's point of view and this final instalment didn't disappoint. A very fitting ending to a really good series.
I loved all of the Corrigan POV books. Theye could have used a bit more editing, but that was no big deal. It'seems the POV and the story that counts. I felt better about their leaving after reading Corrigan's book. Thank you for a fun read with great characters -
I've just read all of these books and really enjoyed them. I like the characters she creates and there is always a strong storyline. I will b looking for more series like this.
I was so addicted to this series mack and the lord Corrigan, they were a fascinating read. I will miss reading about.them i don't suppose you could get revive them again with the children twins...
Will these two ever be together? What did Corrigan go thru to get to where everything is now? Will he forgive? We know the ending but see it from his side and what do you think?
Better than the other ones, but the typos drove me crazy. I understand that they're self-edited, but it's not that hard to use tools like grammarly.com.
The epilogue was the best! What a great ending to Mack and Corrigan's story. Hoping that someday we will see more of this family in the future. As a side note, I decided to read Bloodlust and Corrigan Lust at the same time reading a few chapters in Mack's story and then jumping over to Corrigan's for a few chapters. It was great as both books offered different details. THANK YOU HELEN HARPER!
Okay, out of the Corrigan books, this was my favorite. It included a lot more about the over arching plot not provided by the other books. I also enjoyed the ending - I felt gyped by the ending in the other series. It felt abrupt. This was more natural and more.. well... adorable.
