The Gift of Maggie is a great addition to the Merry Matrimony series. Maggie and Wes were not a likely couple. The bet made between Wynter, Maggie and Holly seemed miles away when Maggie was corralled into caring for R & B star Wes. When you add in attempted murder, possible gang involvement and uncertainty, you have the makings of a wonderful read. Now that Maggie and Holly have both found their loves it will be interesting to see how the most outgoing of the group, Wynter, gets snagged.
