They also have been collaborating with developer Type-Moon to create the light novel series Fate/Zero. Their works usually have dark themes such as reanimation of the dead, rape and murder. They also have a branch of the company called Nitro+chiral, which focuses on Boys' Love visual novels. Writers aligned with the company, such as Gen Urobuchi, have also contributed to various manga, anime, novel, and television works.

The book is basically good for costume making and cosplayers as it provide insight to how the costumes and the blades are made. It is all japanese and is really helpful.

This art book provides a very thorough visualization of each and every character detailing their respective character design: highlighting the clothing layers and weapon details. The characters are drawn by various artist thus the inconsistency of how the concept composition is portrayed, some might be more detailed than others. Nevertheless all the artworks are neat and detailed enough to make good reference.

The background of the pages in this artbook has a very pleasant, subtle texture that is very fitting to the theme of Touken Ranbu. A foldable height comparison chart of the swords is also provided, attached to the book as the very last 'page'.

Sword stats and information isn't provided as this artbook focuses mainly on the character and enemy designs. It does not serve as a strategy guidebook, unless you're expecting so - you'd be disappointed.
