Hori-san, until you think "I don't want you here," or "I can't even stand to look at you," or "Just get lost," I'll be right here.I like how Miyamura behaves differently around Shindou than he does around his high school classmates. And I also like how the story isn't obsessively focused on romance--it's a major factor, yes, but not the only one. In the case of our leads, we're dealing with the characters' internal pain, too: Miyamura's slow recovery from being socially isolated in early adolescence (hey, I feel ya there, kid), Hori's having to be the "the strong and responsible one" when it comes to taking care of her household. She's what, seventeen? She's attending school and getting high marks, taking care of her younger sibling, cooking and cleaning. It's a lot!
