10 fabulous stories. I particularly enjoyed book 10. It was great reading 4,500 pages without having to look for another book. I'll read book 11 onwards sometime soon!
I just finished the last book of the first ten. The story of domestic abuse was interesting. In the first part of the book I was beginning to wonder if it really was a Roy Grace book because it seemed to be about a woman named Red. Although the book ended very interestingly I think I'll take a break from Roy. He's a forty-year-old man and I don't think I can take anymore of his worship of his beloved, incredible Cleo right now after ten books in a row.
Great plot set in an interesting place, Brighton. Having lived in the area O loved the description of nearby places. The characters, especially Roh Grace are fascinating.. A good read
Bought this set of 10 books about 5 weeks ago to read on holiday in April. ........ just finished the 19th book !!! Absolutely fantastic books. How did I not know about Peter james before now. Love the character Roy grace and haven't been able to put the books down. Will need to order more gor my holiday now.
Read this between other books, well-written but don't think I will read any more as I now find it irritating to be reminded of what went before in every book
What an amazing read. Completely draws you in to the world of Roy Grace. One of those book series that leaves you dazed and confused once you've finished, trying to figure out how you're supposed to function in this world now the story is over.
I finally finished these 10 books. Although they are a collection, don't expect the books to be small and easily finished in one sitting. They are full sized books. I really enjoyed all of the stories and I am glad that I took my time (reading other things between each book). There is an overall story line that links all of the books and makes them interesting. I am definitely going to read the next ones in the series.
Peter James has you gripped into Roy Grace's world from the beginning. The twists and turns throughout every chapter keeps you guessing. I cannot wait to read what happens next....
