Edward Grey is no stranger to the undead; since raising his cat as a zombie when he was a child, he and his mentor Mariel have explored and developed his power as a necromancer. Despite everything he's learned, as a necromancer and a medical student, he's never encountered a ghost.
While Mariel is unreachable in Haiti on mysterious business, a ghost wakes Edward in the middle of the night, claiming to be his grandfather. When the ghost offers to teach him about this different form of undeath, Edward has little choice but to trust the spirit.
After receiving a phone call from a young girl claiming her father is possessed, Edward and his Undead Canadian fiancé, Kit, must travel to an acreage in Kingston…Ontario.
The haunting proves far more complicated than Edward could ever have guessed, and he finds himself pitted against an ancient evil determined to engulf everyone on the farm.
Edward's love and connection to Kit will be tested, and his necromancy stretched to his limits as he has to find—and destroy—a twisted spirit more powerful than anything he's ever encountered.

I didn't really like the first book but I had already purchased this one so I went ahead and read it. Slightly more interesting than the first book, but I doubt I will carry on past this. I'd like to mention that it makes zero sense that when possessed by a ghost, a man that can't walk, suddenly can. The body hasn't changed. The injury hasn't changed, and the muscles will have deteriorated from not being used. This really nagged at me the whole second half of the book.
So anyone that knows me, knows that I wouldn’t stop raving about My Zombie Boyfriend after I had read it. As a result, I couldn’t wait to get my grabby hands on a copy of My Zombie Fiancé. I think I love Edward and Kit even more after reading it. What more can you ask for? PNR, m/m, horror and comedy all in one!
Edward’s life couldn’t be better; still pursuing his medical studies by day and developing his skills as a necromancer by night. Plus, and more importantly, organising a wedding to the love of his life. The fact that said fiancé is undead is neither here nor there. What could possibly go wrong?
With his mentor, Mariel, out of the country, it falls to Edward to come to the aid of a young girl. This will just be a run of mill exorcism, won’t it? No need to panic, even if Edward has never performed one before.
However, Edward ends up in a fight for very life and that of his HEA with Kit. I have to say the horror part of the story was really ramped up in Book #2 and The Big Bad they find themselves up against literally gave me the willies. I jest not!! There will be a few more lights on the house tonight I can tell you….
I’m calling this a supernatural whodunit!! I had to know what happened and read it all in one sitting. My bladder was severely protesting by the time I finished lol – TMI? Eh, meh.
Kit still cracks me up with his sarcastic wit and I find Edward’s lack of social skills so endearing. Yet through whatever gets flung at our unconventional duo, you feel the love they have for one another.
As with the first in the series, there is host of colourful secondary characters; old and new. Mariel, Edward’s eccentric parents, Bone with the addition of Claude and Stanley to name but a few. I was so happy Bone was back and I’m desperate to hear more about him. I’ll keep my fingers crossed there may be a novella in the offing. I can hope, right? Also The Lord of the Rings references: priceless!
I look forward to the next in the series and can only imagine the shenanigans that Edward and Kit will get themselves involved in next!

This is a terrific follow-up to My Zombie Boyfriend. It has all the delightfully weird elements of the first book without being simply more of the same.
I wasn't sure what to expect when I picked it up. Total honesty: I didn't even read the blurb. I just wanted more of Edward and Kit (and maybe Bone). I got my wish as well as a great story that had me hooked from the start and kept my interest all the way to the end.
What I liked: This is brand-new territory for Edward the Necromancer. He's used to zombies, and now he has to deal with ghosts. I enjoyed the twists, and I liked how it isn't the same old tired ghost story. Sure, there's an unhappy ghost, a love connection with the long-deceased, and a couple of exorcisms, but they're all different parts of the story. They felt fresh, and it was exciting to see Edward's abilities expanding and being tested.
What I loved: Besides Edward and Kit, I still adore creepy Bone, and I really enjoyed his parts in the story. My only complaint is that there is not enough Boo in this one! I also loved how there's plenty of shiver-inducing ghost-and-zombie action, but there's also a lot of oh-my-gosh-I'm-glad-I-wasn't-drinking-anything humor throughout. And of course, above it all is Edward and Kit's charming and weird relationship.
Anyone looking for a steamy romance won't find it here. The lovey stuff happened in the last book, so this one is more about Edward discovering his new talents. However, anyone needing a quirky paranormal tale that can be read in an afternoon should definitely pick this one up.

Loved this book. I love Kit, the snarky Undead Canadian. In this book, Kit and Edward go to Kingston, Ontario to fight ghosts. I live the writing style of the author, and all the interactions between Kit and Edward. I hope there will be more in the series. I would love to see the wedding.
Edward gets a visit from his long dead grandfather while Mariel is away in Haiti on some unknown trip. The lack of proximity opens up the channel of seeing and interacting with ghosts that Edward never realised existed. He is then called up to exorcise a friendly spirit from a man as directed by Mariel. He learns more on his craft while helping save a girl and her father. All while helping plan his upcoming wedding.
I really love this series. It's so different. It's sassy, sexy and full of fun. It's just gets better and better to me. I'm very anxious to read when they get married. And what happens then. But this story causes Edward to face a side to him he's not known yet. And it's scary.
Edward was just getting cozy in bed with Kit when he gets a surprise visit from a ghost claiming to be his grandfather. But he's confused because he knows who his grandparents were. But he finds out his father was adopted and this is his paternal grandfather. He also realizes for the first time, he is seeing ghosts. He grandfather gives him some useful information on what he really is. And after visiting the graveyard where his grandfather is buried, he realizes more to his gift. And it's a good thing because he is called to help someone with a ghost problem and his mentor is gone. He goes to help this family with the possession and realizes the ghost is sweet and is trying to protect this family. He also realizes there is a very dark presence surrounding this family and farm and it is strong. He is forced into some confrontations with this being and it nearly kills him and takes his fiancé.
Oh sweet shy Edward. He is put to the test in this book. He learns he has powers he didn't know of. He finally starts seeing ghosts. Which he finds out later why he hasn't yet. He gets put in a confrontation with a being he's never encountered. He almost loses his life several times and almost loses the love of his life. All while trying to plan a wedding and learn how far his powers really go. He's terrified and doesn't know how to handle things. He's afraid of the power he's come into because he doesn't want to become evil. He loves his life with Kit and wants to stay with him for years to come. I love how their relationship how grown stronger. Kit is as snarky as ever. And the quips they share back and forth is so fun. But all this puts a new spin on their relationship and they realize they need each other more than ever. With secrets revealed, bonds made stronger, lives changed, they endure an adventure they never thought possible.
I am so loving this series. It is just the best. So fun and different. It's been such a joy to read and I can't wait to read the next one or more from this author.
I am so excited that I picked this book to read this week. I absolutely loved it. Edward and Kit return to continue their story from the first book, My Zombie Boyfriend. Though Kit would prefer to be called an Undead Canadian, not Zombie. I love this title for the series, I feel like it could/should be a band name.
This is the second book in the Undead Canadian series . I must say this book picks right up where book one has left off. We have Edward a young medical student/ necromancer and his sexy Canadian zombie boyfriend Kit . They are on an adventure after receiving a call from Kingston Ontario they are on the way home to Kit's family farm where they are up against the worst evil possible . Will they survived the evil and will their love survive . You will have to read to find out .
I fell in love with Edward and Kit from the first book and they made me fall in love with them even more in book 2 . Edward is still the geeky nerdy medical student but he is getting stronger and stronger as he goes through book two. He is put through the wringer in this book . The author took him on a roller coaster this time . Kit is the calming effect on Edward and for a zombie Kit is pretty fricken hot . He does go through some trials throughout this book also . but it brings Edward and Kit closer together . They are such good characters and you will have no problem falling for these two . They are so cute together and you will giggle at some the things get into.
This is the second book I have read by this author and I was so enthralled, the author takes us on such an adventure with each turn of the page. This is such a great twist on the zombie genre. This zombie isn't the typical zombie book. Kit is a talking, walking , loving man that ok needs to have a little maintenance every now and then. You will shed a tear and you will laugh , trust me you will laugh.. There is a love story and a paranormal story all rolled into one in this book . Oh this is a m/m story line which didn't bother me at all the characters are so well written. So if you want a cool series that will make you laugh and maybe shed a tear or two . This would make a great summer read for those who want something different. Check out the series .
This is the continuation of the adventures of necromancer Edward and his zombie fiancé, Kit. Edward is moving on from zombies to ghosts in this installment, and his mentor and protector, Mariel, is nowhere to be found. Oh, he knows where she is, but she is not making contact easy. Sadly, Edward is way out of his element in this new and unexpected segment to his paranormal abilities, and poor Kit is just as unsettled.
I liked this book, a lot. It answered a few of the questions I had at the end of book one, especially about what happens to Kit once Edward dies, which really bothered me in the first story. I know Kit is already dead, but Edward is his everything. And it also answered why Kit was so different from other zombies. I loved the answers.
I was thrilled with the growth that Edward makes in his abilities and how he did it mostly on his own. Edward is a brave man; he does the right thing even if it scares the crap out of him. As was the same with the other stories, there is a lot of levity to make this more of a fun and suspenseful story, as opposed to horror. Don’t get me wrong, it does get a little tense, but you know at the end that Edward and Kit will prevail.
My only confusion was how a ghost and the man he sometimes possesses could have “feelings” for each other. Considering this is a series concerning the romantic relationship between a living, but not breathing, zombie and his human lover, I guess anything can happen, and in this series, it usually does. Highly recommended for those who love some entertaining paranormal mysteries and a splash of romance.
"My Zombie Fiancé", book two of "The Undead Canadian" continues the story of Edward, our necromancer-in-training. Sure, Ed's resurrected his cat, Boo, and his "don't use the z-word" boyfriend Kit back from the dead; but now he has to deal with a malevolent ghost with over-reaching powers. He must also scape of the knowhow with Muriel, who has been called away to Haiti. Even more frightening: he has to plan for his up and coming wedding!
This second chapter of the series, now free of the "origin story" is able to dig into several new plot points and it conjures of a gaggle of ghosts who may we see yet again. Edward's growing powers carry a deeper mystery when he learns why he has them to begin with and what helps keep his bond with Kit. One part romance, one part "Supernatural" and maybe a dash of "Scooby Doo", this book will keep you guessing as to what will happen to Edward and Kit.

2016 Rainbow Awards Honorable Mention: My Zombie Fiancé by T. Strange 1) I found this book to be a joy to read with it's engaging plot, lovable MCs and colourful cast of supporting characters. Easy to follow, despite having not read book 1, which I will be doing very soon, and full of humour, atmosphere and plot, plot, plot. 2) This was a great story, and it was fun to follow the characters on another adventure, once i read the first book. i am curious as to what the author has planned next.
I really enjoyed this book. It's a great read. I would recommend it to my friends and others who asked about it. It is a book I would read again. This is a series I would love to continue reading. I like T. Strange's twist on zombies in this series. I think that's part of what makes it. I really like Kit and Edward's relationship and the entire plot of the book as well.
This is the first T Strange novel Iv ever read and let me just tell you she's 100% gained a new fan.I loved everything about this story Edward and Kit are fantastic together and who doesn't want a zombie cat called Boo?This was unlike any zombie book Iv read but I guess that's what kept me turning pages.I highly recommend this book to anyone that love the supernatural. 5 undead stars.
