Grade Level: 2-5

Summary: This book provides information on animals that you can find in the rainforest. It is written as though they are journal entries while on an adventure. The book takes you from the treetops to the water.

Review: There are lots of photographs and realistic drawings to compare to one another. The book might be confusing for younger readers because the style is more like a journal and less like a traditional book. There is lots of information on many different animals and environments.

Uses: 1. Reference for projects on animals/rainforest topics
2. Pick 5 facts to write about an animal and illustrate
