How can I tell you without giving spoilers? I don't know but I'm going to try. We have two young men who have been like brothers for a long time and have shared many things including women. Then enters a beautiful girl that falls in love with one of them. They all live together and the guy left out knows how strong their love for each other is. The bond between the two lovers are strong and she wants to do something special for her man. She goes all out by decorating their basement and getting clothes for them for a special role playing night. Meanwhile the two guys are on an out of town trip when the possibility of more happening between the three comes out. They return home and are wonderfully surprised by what she's done. Wellll, the role playing turns into wonderful hot sex and becomes much more emotionally. Later she's torn by what has occurred and feels so bad about it that she leaves. The guys don't understand what she's going through but know they don't want to lose her. In their desperate search for her they learn how much she means to both of them and along the way meet some wonderful people that will become permanent friends to all of them and learn that some "friends" are not what they appear to be. This story shows that strong, true, forever love is not limited to the norm, but can encompass many forms. I'm afraid I didn't do to good in not giving away spoilers, but believe it or not there's a lot more. I recommend this to all who love stories of great love and passion with a little twist and turns.

I received this book in exchange for an honest review. I have to admit I was a bit apprehensive about reading this book, since erotica is not one of my "go to" book choices normally; but knowing the brilliance of this author's other works, I figured I HAD to give it a shot and WOW am I glad I did!!!
The story has 3 main characters. A couple Ryan & Tempest (man & woman) who are in a deep, loving relationship with each other and they reside together as best friends with Ryan's step-brother Aiden. They are all very close and love each other very much. Tempest and Ryan would probably do anything to please each other. Tempest decides that she's going to surprise Ryan with an intimate, sexual, role playing fantasy and he is more than willing to make his woman happy. She plans this all with the help of her best friend. She prepares everything for an evening of pirate debauchery, all while Ryan & Aiden are out together. They both arrive home to the scene Tempest has set. But what none are truly aware of, is that there are "feelings" between the three for each other that are not your traditional relationship standards, so nobody really addresses the issue. They just continue to reside together very happily. Well when the boys come home to the scene Tempest has set, all caution is thrown to the wind-very gently, actually naturally and they end up having an amazing fantasy night together as a threesome.
Now, what happens when feelings between each other are stirred and more deep rooted than any of them realizes about the other?
What is to happen after this night? Well the men wake snuggled together, but no Tempest. Now they're unsure of what was a mind blowing, incredible experience may have ruined the relationships between all of them. They set out to find Tempest to sort out the situation and see what has happened; if Tempest & Ryan are still feeling the same for each other, are the brothers going to be able to go on together after what has happened between all three?
I don't give up spoilers in my reviews (as much as I'd LOVE to for this one, but I won't hehehe) Well, I'm not going to tell you what happens, but all I can say is this is SO MUCH MORE than just a sex, erotica, menage story. There is TRUE love between the three and the author displays that fabulously, in much detail. Can a relationship work between three people amicably or will this be a disaster that never should have happened and there is much regret? You're going to have to grab the book and find out for yourself!!
I highly suggest that if you're on the fence about reading this book, as I was, give it a try, you will not be disappointed. I had so many emotions run through me while reading this book, I was astounded. I truly did not think it was going to be the incredible masterpiece of writing that it is.
You will fall in love with these characters and the author makes you feel as if you've known them your whole life. She's very precise in her writing and descriptions, I just can't say enough good things about this book!!! And that is the honest truth. I laughed, I cried, I was aroused, it was magnificent!
It's a testament to what "true" love is all about. I think anyone who reads this will feel the same and I definitely recommend you give it a read for yourself. I'm sure you will not be disappointed! BRAVO A.R. Von for such an incredible story!!! I'd give it more stars if I could!!

This was my first time reading anything by A.R. Von ,and I really must say that I thoroughly enjoyed this hot,steamy story. A.R.Von has given us a story that will hold our attention from start to finish, and then will leave us wanting more from this author. This is such a wonderful story that just doesn't deal with menage relationships ,but it could also leads to problems or issues that would come up just with having one. They plunge further into the harassment that their been receiving from Marisol. Before you start to read this one hot , steamy story, you need to set up a fan or have some ice handle to cold yourself off, and prepared to have moments of wet panties with this book. And hold on tight to your chair because this book has humor ,surprises ,and a whole lot more fun.Ryan and Tempest has a wonderful relationship the past 2 years,and it's been really unbelievable .But Both of their careers are going great,but as for their life as a couple everything seems that it just couldn't get any better .But the beautiful Tempest wants to give Ryan a valentine's day that he won't forget, so she sets up a surprise that he will very forget. But the hot and sexy Ryan totally has other ideas. But it seems he likes to share his women ,but the beautiful Tempest doesn't know with who. The plans that he has involves his step-brother Aiden with everything going along well, they just all seem to fit perfectly together. But Tempest 's best friend Marisol just doesn't approve of this life for her, and starts to make their lives quite difficult. This is one fast-paced story that has some steamy moments ,and has some tenderness and hot love. But not just with each other ,but between them all. I could tell you more about that ,but that would spoil it for you. I highly recommend that you read this sexy story, because you won't be disappointed.

Expecting a little roleplay fantasy between lovers? Perhaps a naughty nurse or school girl? If you want something hotter, this book is for you. New to me author A.R.Von blows my mind and makes my panties moist in this delicious little menage. Tempest is aptly named as she drives two men wild with lust.

Ryan and Tempest are lovers who have a great life. They love each other and love to do things for each other. They are also sexually adventurous which is a big plus. When Tempest shares a little fantasy for her lover about a threesome, Ryan knows just the man for the job - his stepbrother Aiden. Ryan and Aiden have a history together. They supported each other and love the same woman. Aiden is no poacher and tries to suppress his desires for his brother's lover. When an opportunity comes for his dark fantasy to be played out, he is hesitant and with good reason.

This story is less plot driven and more character driven. Or should I say, character sexual exploration driven. Author A.R. Von does a fantastic job of building up the sexual chemistry. The foreplay in this book is smoking hot and when the pirate "roleplay" finally commences, a few readers may prematurely explode. The threesome is delicious and naughty. The sex scenes are vividly shown and memorable. This tale is more than just sex. It is a loving piece where three characters discover how they fit together. This erotic story is well written with just the right character development and number of sex scenes. This erotic romance is recommended for menage readers who want their cake and eat it too.

I was given this book for an honest review. I enoyed reading it. This is not a concept I am personally familiar with buut "role play" definitely has its own appeal.
When Temptest and Ryan get together he's usually the one to take control. Temptest decides to surprise him with a very surprising Valentine's Day. She enlists her "best friend" Marisol to mke this happen. Marisol def has her opinion about this. While Ryan and his step brother, Aidan are out of town on business she gets to work making her perfect gift ready for him.
Ryan and Aidan has a hidden past. Temptest knows some of Ryan's past but not who he shared most of it with.
On the business trip Ryan and Aidan discuss past and present issues that have on both of their minds and that need to be resolved.
Temptest unknownly sets the scene to resolve the issues bothering them. She is estatic when she realized the guys want the same thing she does.
Marisol has her on ideas on how things should be. Her and Temptest have also shared a past but nothing in comparision to Ryan and Aidan. Their past, other than the friendship, means nothing to Temptest but means everything to Marisol.
Temptest, Ryan and Aidan enter into what they feel is the perfect realtionship for them. Their unequaled love for each other has no boundaries.
The "teacher scene" is very stimulating lol. But then again all of their intimate scenes are.
Marisol is determined to change things and ruin Temptest new found happiness. Marisols past is very different and violent from what Temptest thought she knew.
A trip to Vegas allows Marisol to finally get her revenge. Or does it?
I love HEA endings and this one has its own surprises.

I will start off by saying that "Role Play" is my favourite Erotic Story for 2016!! I do love the occasional erotic book, but I stopped reading for awhile because the ones I did read were all about Sex with no story involved. Well ladies AR Von changed all that for me when I picked up her book last night and finished @ 5:30am this morning!! As always her writing is flawless and beautifully written. I loved her main characters Ryan and his beautiful girlfriend Tempest, who live together along with his Stepbrother Aiden. *****swooning***** Ok i'm good now, LOL Their love story start's on Valentines Day because both Ryan and Tempest want to give each other the best of themselves, in every way possible. They also both love Aiden and have often thought of "What if we bring him in the picture" but they never ever told each other of their Taboo desires. **swooning again** LOL When it finally happens, all I can say is "OMG" I loved their Role Playing (school girl,bad boy and the teacher) so much that my toes were actually curling! Holy Hades AR Von sure knows how to write Sex Scenes, and you wanna know why? Well lets just say that all I wanted after that and other Taboo Sex Scenes was a Cigarette, and I don't smoke. LOL there is also such a beautiful love story as well, and one hateful friend who almost ruined their whole lives. The ending was everything I wanted it to be and more. When I cannot stop thinking of characters in a book, that is a book well written. 5 Amazing Stars

Ryan & Tempest have a great relationship. For the past two years everything has been unbelievably perfect. Their careers are going great, their life together seems as if it can't get better.
But it can.
Tempest want's to give Ryan a Valentine's day he'll never forget, she sets up something she believes will please him but he has other ideas.
Ryan has a history of sharing women, what Tempest doesn't know is with who.

He's seen the way she looks at Aiden and he at her, he knows he's doing the right thing.
But Aiden's a little deeper than a possible one time thing, he's in completely, but who is he in for?

Role Play is a sweet take on a taboo relationship. As is expected they face challenges as far as perception outside of their relationship that they have to learn to fight through.
They get a little help in that department, well a lot of help actually thanks to Tempest running away. It turns out her little freakout opens up doors and a support system they otherwise may not have had.

This is a hot and steamy story that starts with Tempest planning a very special Valentine's Day for her boyfriend, Ryan. However, Ryan is also planning something for her, which involves him and his step-brother/best friend, Aiden. Things move along and they all fit together in a perfect way. However, Tempest's best friend, Marisol, doesn't approve of her new way of life and goes about making their lives as difficult as possible.

This is a wonderful book that not only deal with a ménage relationship, but also with the problems and issues that might arise with having one. That delves further with the harassment they receive from Marisol.

This is a fast-paced novel, full of steamy moments, but also full of tenderness and love, not just between one pair but between all three of them in equal measure. This is a thoroughly enjoyable read that I would not hesitate to recommend.

I've never understood the appeal of dressing up in intricate outfits with a bunch of props and other accessories just to get naked again. I have a friend who is really into this, though, and she has a closet full of Role Play costumes that I've spent years shaking my head at whenever she drags them out to show me the latest ones. I am also not a fan of reading M/M action, but I admire female writers who are able to write what they clearly don't know firsthand well enough to really pull it off and even get the straight M/F action lovers among us excited about an M/M/F scene. I also appreciate when there is a *story* involved in an erotic menage story. So for all of these reasons, I'd give A.R. Von's "Role Play" a thumb's up. But even absent those other elements, I give it 5 stars for the uber hot teacher/students role play scene alone. lol. Woohoo! ;)

Holy crap! Just, WOW. Really, this book has heat for days.
It is so hard to find a book that will captivate me and just keep me turning the pages just to see what is going to happen. And I must confess, I'm not usually a fan of the step-sibling love thing. A.R. Von made this a treat for me to read.
How do you keep your relationship fresh and new? Well, by trying some thing new of course.
This book covers the story of Tempest, Ryan and Aiden, what happens when love and passion take a large role in your relationship.
You really don't want to miss this book!

Tempest is in love with her boyfriend Ryan and would do anything to make him happy. She knows some of the history that he has shared with his step-brother Aiden and Tempest has begun to share some of her fantasies with Ryan.

Ryan is ready to give Tempest anything she wants and when it's clear that he can make one of her fantasies come true he is more than willing as it allows him to fulfill some of his own. When it's clear that Aiden has his own fantasies will they work or will it cause heartbreak?

This book is definitely geared for 18+ and deals with some "taboo" relationships for sure. It will definitely not appeal to everyone.

I thought the story was interesting but found some aspects hard to imagine. That being said I did really enjoy the book and found the relationships between the three characters loyal and extremely caring. Their friendship with Dom was so important with what he was able to bring to them.

Marisol was definitely an interesting twist for sure!

Role Play. Let's face it...you've had a boyfriend, and a male friend you've fantasized about. Valentine's Day? Probably one of the most romantic holidays. Oh, and you like pirates? Enter our cast of characters, Tempest, Ryan and Aidan. Each has a fantasy and V-Day will play out as Olympic Gold. This book is steamy and taps on all emotions. There is sex, sex and more sex. I started reading this while watching the Olympics and quickly abandoned the TV in favor of the fog on my Kindle. These three go on a sexual tyrst which evolves into a relationship. It's written from each character's POV, which is tricky, but the author pulls it off pretty darn good. I enjoyed the read and the 'southerly tingle' it provided

A trio that's meant to be, Ryan, Tempest and Aiden, work, live and play together. It's more than attraction for these three it's love.

This book is not only HOT it has a great story.
There is Sex, Love and a fatal attraction that may ruin their bond, along with an ending that will melt your heart.

One of Author AR Von's best work yet, I recommend this to all who like more than just a sexy hot read.

Whoa, where to start. I think I'll begin with how A.R. blew it out the box with this one. I mean, there's love, suspense (the "hold on to the edge of your seat kind), humor, surprises, VERY hot sex and fun. Lots and lots of fun.
I strongly recommend reading it in a private setting with a fan, a cool drink and a special someone to attack at the ready (yes, it really is THAT hot).
I hope there will be more like it in the future from this author.

Did you ever hear the saying make sure you really want what you ask for? This book is sexy and amazing. Not for any one under 18. If you have ever found your self in a situation where you have it all and maybe can have more after reading this book I say go for it. The chemistry is off the charts hot. Role Play is definitely a sexy, romantic, taboo read. It takes you out of your comfort zone and into the wild. This is a story of three people who love each other, care for each other, and through their bonds, have come together to make it official. They've all three come to a realization that basically says “Screw the world. We got this.” And of course, there's always going to be people, or a specific person, that wants to mess up what they got. I enjoyed how the story flowed. The sex scenes were hot, although, I'm not really one for male on male sex. Doesn't turn me on like it did Tempest. At times, and only at certain times, did I feel like our male leads were lacking in the Alpha aspect. I wanted more Alpha-y attitude from them. But overall, this is a story of three people who have a connection with each other and they just happen to explore that. It’s a fantasy turned reality, and one really needs to keep an open mind while reading Role Play. It'll definitely take you on a ride of forbidden ecstasy and of course, you get a sweet and sexy HEA. If reading things out of the 'norm' is your thing, pick this up, you won't be disappointed.

I struggled with the writing style in this book. It had alternating POV, which is fine, but it was done as stream of consciousness and ended up reading awkwardly. There was a lot of irrelevant information, and it detracted from the relationship in my opinion. I did like that it wasn't solely erotica. It had characters with interesting backstories and a complex plot. The sexual scenes were definitely steamy. Unfortunately, the writing simply wasn't cohesive enough to keep me invested in the book or relationship. It may just be that stream of consciousness narration isn't my preferred style, so I'd suggest trying a sample.
