Read this morning at work while waiting on a few things. Very basic story but it's got a lovely flow and it's easy and enjoyable. I can imagine little kiddies really getting a kick out of this boy changing into a dragon.
My boys loved it ... anything with a dragon is a winner. Good concept ... my boys got it quick. I think I needed a bit more or a summary at the end .. it seemd a bit abrupt/hanging.
What a wonderous book, the author really brings the reader into the world of a child, as they play between reality and fantasy. Captivating illustrations keep the conversation busy and the book draws out with long chats about what is happening in each page. An absolute delight and a must read for any child whose life is filled with being a dragon and a kid!
This book is so much fun. Such a simple way to describe children who struggle staying in one mode and don't have another way to describe how they are feeling.
