“Alicia’s Review”
The book is about a girl named Morgan who took her uncle’s false teeth and dropped them in the water. Unfortunately a fish got them in his mouth. (Eww, I know.) The book is funny and I enjoyed reading it to my brother.

Uncle Farley's False Teeth was a perfect book for World Read Aloud Day. The repeated verse; "The fabulous fish with the freckled fin swam boldly into the harbour again he wore Uncle Farley's teeth as if they belonged to him" is sure to have kids joining in when reading aloud. Kids are also likely to repeat the statement: "Uncle Farley's Teeth was still in his mouth" that is at the end of each page with the expectation of you turning to the next page. The book is chalked full of humour as each of the friends try to retrieve the false teeth before Uncle Farley awakes. It was also the perfect book to be illustrated by Michael Martchenko!

Morgan’s Uncle Farley always dropped his false teeth into a glass of water before his nap. This time, while he was sleeping, Morgan took the false teeth to the wharf to show her friends. Accidentally, she dropped them into the water where a big fish claimed them as his own. The fish could not be convinced to give them back until Morgan told him one particular thing.

A girl steals her uncle’s false teeth and a fish steals them from her and swims away. These are some beautiful teeth.
An angler attempts to catch the fish by means of purple bubblegum as bait.
A police officer is foiled in an attempt to arrest the fish. Then he goes out for doughnuts.
I’d probably read this to second grade kids.
