Growing up as a boy was hard enough in the eighteen-hundreds. Growing up pretending to be a girl while being a boy? Nearly impossible.
Due to his father's trickery and greed, Ariella finds himself walking a thin line between freedom and a noose. He desperately wishes for one, yet the other seems much more likely to find him first. When a chance encounter with the local law occurs at the most awkward time, Ariella is forced to abandon his former life for one he doesn't understand how to live.
Kierei is an avid reader and has been writing for over ten years. She has a blue merle aussie named Raquetball, who lives up to her name quite well.
One of her newer stories coming out soon is called Fox, a story about a sarcastic shapeshifter who learns first how to trust, and then how to love... with quite a few quips and squabbles along the way.
When a beautiful lad dressed in gown and wear a long wig. Know nothing about stable but good at cooking. You're in for amazing adventures Ariel will undergo, along with his new found confidence and of course, love interest. This is definitely one of the best book I read so far XD
The premise is interesting but the execution was absolutely not at all to my liking. The lawman is an asshole who treats Abel terribly for most of the book. Abel is sorta sweet at the beginning but then comes across as naive to the point of stupidity as he doesn't seem to care or get upset with everything that's being done to him.
Then there is the sex. The sex isn't described at all, which is good because I wouldn't want to read these sex scenes based on the consequences of that happens. I have no problem reading BDSM sex but there is no indication that is what is going on here and in all other cases you shouldn't be bleeding or not be able to leave your bed for 2 days after having sex.
