I LOVED this story, I think of all the Le Beau Brothers stories I like this one the most, and that's saying a lot as each of the brothers stories are terrific. Richie and Piper, the heroine, are so kick-a.. great individually that together they are explosive. The toughness and anger in Piper, due to her dangerous job, is offset by the humor, persistence and adoration from Richie. He has to convince her of the truthfulness of his explanation concerning what's happening with them and the confusion Piper feels. She wants no one close to her for she fears for their safety; but Richie is having none of that. With their obvious attraction to each other you'd think it would be a breeze, but Richie really has a hard job convincing her that they are made for each other. Meanwhile they both are worried for each other's safety due to the psychopathic killer pursing Piper. Will they be safe, will she leave when she learns the truth of Richie's true nature, or run away? Will he accept her decision no matter what it may be. I try very hard not to leave spoilers and I think I have succeeded here; but be advised that this story is filled with a lot of action and hot sexual scenes that you won't want to miss. To those who love stories about hot crazy paranormal romance, with humor and action thrown in YOU HAVE GOT TO GET THIS BOOK and if somehow you've missed earlier Le Beau Brother stories, well all I've got to say about that is WHAT THE HECK YOU WAITING go out and get the 6 book boxed series and read them or just get them one at a time, either way go get them, you definitely won't be sorry.

Piper Sinclair was ready to retire from bounty hunting. Just one more job to catch the man responsible for the deaths of entire families. First she was heading to her cousin Bob's wedding. Richie Majors a wolf shifter didn't think he was going to make the wedding of his friend Theresa. He has been waiting patiently to find his mate. At the wedding when he sees Piper his wolf cries mate. Piper finds herself unusually drawn to Ritchie. Piper figures one night will get him out of her system. She doesn't have time for a relationship. She has to catch Q-Ball. Richie isn't letting Piper go and will do anything to keep her safe and in his arms.
This is the 6th book in the Le Beau series. They can be read as stand alones but it is such a wonderful series you will want to read them all. Plenty of suspense, mystery and hot sex. Of course convincing Piper she is his mate. I received a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.

Richie
I'm enjoying the series progression and really enjoyed reading about Richie and Piper, and especially loved that she was a strong heroine who didn't need saving. But when she did need salvation, she had a strong and protective mate who had her back and too care of her when it REALLY mattered. I recommend this series to paranormal romance lovers.

This is the 6th book in the series and I think they should be read in order. Richie is attending a friend’s wedding when he finds his mate. She may not be what he imagined when he imagined his mate. Piper is attending her cousin’s wedding. Piper is a bounty hunter and the mark she is currently looking for isn’t acting like a normal criminal. She doesn’t know why she let her boss convince her to take this case. She was going to retire but instead said she would take this as her last case. Now she is stuck with a serial killer who is coming after her instead of running and laying low. Piper is attracted to Richie to the point of distraction. That has never happened to her before. She finds herself attracted to him like she has never been attracted to a guy before. Then Richie has a premonition about Piper’s death. He is going to stick to her side, he can’t let his premonition come true. This book has action, romance, and more. Richie is more than meets the eye. Piper never noticed anything was missing from her life until she meets Richie. Piper survived a horrible incident with her brother as a child and it is the reason she chooses to become a bounty hunter. Just like the other books in this series and I was pulled in right from the beginning. Another fantastic book by V.A. Dold.

Her boss asked her to take one final job to grab a serial killer. Somehow, the serial killer is stalking her and he is super dangerous! They have several run ins with him before Richie takes her to his cabin in the bayou to trap the killer. When they finally corner him…he shoots Richie…will he survive? And if so, will Piper accept him as her mate? Or will she freak out about the entire thing? I received this book for free and am leaving a voluntary review.

Getting her to accept that and to help her catch her bounty makes for an exciting read and a wild romance. Love this series. This book was great.

Omg I have read them all and need book 7 and 8 the suspense is killing me. When are these books going to be out? This is definitely one of the best stories I've read in a long time.
I can't wait to see how quickly things work out for Seth and Ettnah ...... to have stories where big woman are made to feel beautiful and sexy and find true love, it is so amazing!!!! I enjoyed this series and need the next books so bad please hurry and put them out.

I absolutely loved Richey and Piper's story. V A Dold weaves a great story, with characters that you will cheer for , cry for, and laugh with. The Goddess deems this match but how will they get there in one piece with a crazed killer hot on Piper's trail? I have loved every book in this series . I think you will too . Another great book in this series. Richie is a great character and when he meets Piper, he is thrown for a loop. The danger he feels around her seems to be getting closer. Add that to his vision, and I really felt for his situation. This is a fast-paced story that keeps your interest from start to finish. Don’t miss this one.

Piper is a bounty hunter taking one last hunt. Richie finally finds his mate at a wedding but she's being stalked by a murderer. Thank goodness for his extended family. Great drama and there are moments of romance too. Couldn't put it down.

I enjoyed Piper and Richie's story. Piper was a no-nonsense, kick-butt bounty hunter with a past that pushed her to protect others. Richie was a great balance for her. I enjoyed the ease of this book and thought it was a good addition to the series.

I have followed this series from the very beginning and have the utmost love for shifter novels. I totally understand that V.A. has a base story to keep here with the shifter portion (ie how the mating happens, the ritual, the love). This story was fast moving, but had a lot of pieces that made the overall book lacking.
Richie is this sexy, irresistible bartender who seems like he would be unattainable for a plus sized female. He met this group of people four years ago and the first of the group is getting married. As par for the course the great goddess has spoken to Emma, as a means of ensuring that Richie meet his fated mate, a human, Piper.
Piper is this resilient bounty hunter who has had to bounce back from some serious life events. She lost some very important people to her and because of the circumstances surrounding that loss she has no vowed to help others so they don't suffer the same fate. She is leery of attending the wedding and putting her friends lives in danger but takes extra measures so she can attend.
Let the fireworks begin. From the very first moment that Piper and Richie see each other the heat is palpable. The romance was like a fast moving jet and Richie's need to protect this fierce independent woman would constantly get her panties in a wad, kinda funny to see a little bantering.
We see Richie and Piper go down this path of romance, Seth is brought into the folds and is introduced as our next bachelor which seemed a bit forced to me. Almost like, I gotta shove him in here somewhere, but we really were not given a lot of time for him to grow on us. The book almost seemed to abruptly end. Even though it is not a cliff hanger, you are left going....where is the rest? I will continue to read this series because I am invested but I really hope the next book restores my faith in the story. Three fangs from Paranormal Romance and Authors That Rock.

Ritchie has been waiting a long time for his mate, he just never thought he would meet her at his friends wedding or that she would be a bounty hunter and that he would have to rescue her that very same night. At least he thought he was rescuing her, Piper thought otherwise Can you say feisty?
Ritchie knows she is his mate, but Piper has no clue, she just thinks he's hot and there is some weird draw to him. When they land in bed together, well sparks fly. While Ritchie's wolf is content he know it will be a challenge to convince Piper they belong together. And when Qball goes after Piper, well you can guess how that upsets Ritchie's wolf as well as his human side. Wolf shifters can be pretty possessive and no one is going to touch his mate, now or never.
Piper can't concentrate when Ritchie is around, she has a job to do and she doesn't have time to keep thinking about when they had wild sex, those images keep popping up in her mind. Damit...lol
From this point on in the book, all sorts of things start happening..And it is awesome..hehe
If you have kept up with The LeBeau Series and all them sexy shifters, you will not be disappointed. Loved it and can't wait for Seth <3

Richie by V.A. Dold was so worth the wait. As the saga continues, the cast of characters continues to grow, the mates continue to be revealed by the Wolf Goddess Luperca, and the tension never diminishes!
The action takes off from the very beginning of the novel when the next mate is revealed to Emma, the Queen of the pack.
Ms. Dold’s characters are enigmatic, tough and as interesting to watch as an ideally written HEA movie! They are always faced with the challenge of overcoming all odds and cultivating a forever after with only a few days’ acquaintance between mates.
The sexual tension is evident from the first eye contact, but in my opinion, handled with much more reverence than it would ever be handled were Ms. Dold’s books truly to be considered erotica. Yes, there is heat, but there is also great love and that is how I differentiate the two!
My only problem with Richie is that it ended too soon. I’m never ready for the story to be over before it’s done. Along comes the end and I’m left panting for more.
I very highly recommend Richie by V.A. Dold and recommend you buy it, immerse yourself in it tonight, and come back for the rest of the series if it isn’t already part of your well-loved, already been read, stack of books.

Richie by V.A. Dold was so worth the wait. As the saga continues, the cast of characters continues to grow, the mates continue to be revealed by the Wolf Goddess Luperca, and the tension never diminishes!
The action takes off from the very beginning of the novel when the next mate is revealed to Emma, the Queen of the pack.
Ms. Dold’s characters are enigmatic, tough and as interesting to watch as an ideally written HEA movie! They are always faced with the challenge of overcoming all odds and cultivating a forever after with only a few days’ acquaintance between mates.

Oh my, Loved this one... We've only really had brief sightings of Richie, and although we think we know him, how wrong can we be?
What a sweet caring sexy man Richie turned out to be and I just love the Goddess setting Emma and Issac the task of making the pairings work.
How badass is Piper, she had this tough exterior but underneath she was just wanted the love and affection of a good man, but had kept love at arms length because of her job, can't wait to see what she des now she is retired.
We got a new nam to drool over, Seth - can't wait to get more of his story and background.
How hard was it for Richie, not only with his visions but also trying to make Piper understand his need to protect her, as her mate.
I'm really loving these books and maybe not a full paranormal convert, YET but these stories have you so hot under the collar, you can't help but get so immersed into the story.
I read someones review, totally unrelated -m about 'being a fly on the wall' and I totally agree with that sentence for V A Dold / Tori Austin's work, it really pulls you in, making you feel you are watching things unfold fro inside the story.
The mating scenes have all been very unique throughout the series, but I think Richie & Piper's has been my favourite so far.
I just love how the shifter community are all there for each other, very heart warming.
Can't wait for the next one...... When is it?......

Loved It!!!!!
The Le Beau Brothers books just keep getting better. This one had me fantasizing in all kinds of ways. Richie is the resident sweetheart to his friends and will not hesitate to protect them. This is a Le Beau trait that I for one adore. He finds his mate in Piper, who is a bit of a badass. It is nice to see another strong yet vulnerable woman portrayed who meets that man who is just for her. The erotica was balanced nicely with romance and both made sense in terms of this relationship. Can't say it enough.....too bad these guys are not real!!! The fan was on high reading this one!

The Le Beau Brothers' books just keep getting better. This one had me fantasizing in all kinds of ways. Richie is the resident sweetheart to his friends and will not hesitate to protect them. This is a Le Beau trait that I, for one, adore. He finds his mate in Piper, who is a bit of a badass. It is nice to see another strong yet vulnerable woman portrayed who meets that man who is just for her. The erotica was balanced nicely with romance; both made sense regarding this relationship. Can't say it enough.....too bad these guys are not real!!! The fan was on high reading this one! There is also a nice crossover to other characters that we have grown to love.

Our favorite bartender finally gets his turn, when the Goddess gives the name of his mate to Emma. She does what she does best and her and her husband ensure they meet!
Piper is a bounty hunter and very good at her job but she's tired of it and ready for change. Who knew taking one last mark would cause her so much trouble!
The two meet at a wedding and of course the attraction is instant however with Piper's bounty chasing her instead of the other way around she has to find a way to make it work while also ensuring that those around her stay safe.
Richie has waited nearly 150 years he's not about to let the danger surrounding Piper to keep him away from her in fact he'll do everything he can to protect her.
Piper is smart and sassy and knows how to do her job, she is rational and sees things that most would overlook.
Richie is a sweetie and is always there for his friends so it's no surprise that they are there for him when needed.
With danger constantly stalking them they will have to learn about each other very fast if they are to stay safe and more importantly stay together.
More adventures are in store and the stream factor is once again ratcheted way up to make for another great read in this series!

The farther I get in the series the more disappointed I become with it. The structure is there. The makings of a good story are there, but it's lacking in execution. When there is dialogue we are rarely told expressions or descriptions of how the person is sounding or expressing physically. So it makes the dialogue seem flat and emotionless a lot of the time. There is also a repetitiveness that I can't seem to get over. I can understand formal speech from someone who is over a hundred years old, but not from someone who is only thirty-five.
I enjoy Ms Dold's work mainly because I'm a Louisiana native, but I'm still kind of disappointed with Richie...

Richie
The indication of a plus size woman was not developed as any importance in the novel. I would have like it to be indicated, more than once. It's important for the larger women to be chased and wanted by good looking, six packing, hunky males and not condemn for their meat existences. Richie was good read if Piper would of been a stronger bails bond woman and did some chasing down her man a little more with her plus size body. With Richie stepping up and becoming more involved in the overall chase rather than waiting for the bad guy coming to look for them. The storyline was melodramatic with a need for humor but held true to a shifter romance. I am hoping for more in Seth.

Four years ago, Richie met a group of freshmen when he saved one of them from a mugger.
Now the first of the group of friends is getting married. He doesn't want to miss it but, if he can't get his schedule situated he won't be able to help it!

He wasn't expecting her to be a bounty hunter. Neither of them expected her bounty to hunt her though! Will Piper be able to take him down without him harming others or will Richie even get the chance to have a mate? If Piper doesn't make it out of this alive then they will never know what true happiness is.
