Very Good Devotional Book

I really enjoyed the reading and study from these devotional readings! Every day, I looked forward to the reading. I seek to pray the Word of God on a daily basis, this is why I was attracted to the book title. Because it is truly His (Gods') Word that shall not return unto Him void. (Isaiah 55:11)

Powerful.prayers

I have read several of Adams prayer books and I'm never disappointed. This is an awesome way to stay connected but also to prayer daily. I highly recommend this book and others of his if you're trying to develop a daily study and prayer time!

I love praying the Word of God, and this is easy to read and full of nourishing truth--its so important to be in the Word of God, because that is how we draw close to Jesus.

But. Toward the end, the author talked about justification through obedience to the Spirit, and that didn't sit well with me. Yes, obedience to the Spirit is extremely important to our walk, process of sanctification and growth in Christ, but justification is only through the antoning Blood of Christ. Justification is not a work on our part, it is the finished work of Jesus Christ, which is applied to us as we put our trust in Him. Justification is a once and done deal at the moment we receive Christ, it is not a process we walk out. That's sanctification.
