SPECIAL Over 45 Additional Soap Recipes at the back of this book.
These days, the soaps, shampoos, and household cleaning products that you use are often loaded with chemicals. While they may claim to be healthy to use, do you really want to take a chance? These products can be especially unhealthy for anyone who has scent allergies or sensitive skin. It is a lot better when you can make your own soaps and household cleaners, and it is relatively easy to do. In fact, we are going to get you started with “365 Days of Soap Making”. In this e-book, you will find loads of recipes for every kind of soap imaginable, from hand soap to laundry detergent and more. These products are made with natural ingredients that are not only safe to use, but can also promote healthy skin and hair.
Many of the recipes in this e-book can be created in just a few minutes, so you might find yourself skipping ahead and doing more than one recipe in a day. Don’t worry, we have you covered with a bonus mini e-book with an additional 45 soap recipes.
Utter rubbish! Feels like a kid looked up the recipes from a kid's soap making kit and made this. The measurements are all completely off, its dangerous to use those for making soap with lye. It gives measurements in cups and stuff which is not reliable for such chemistry. Not to mention even for melt and pour the essential oil or fragrance ratio is sooo low, who puts 2 drops of essential oil into ½ a pound of soap? I highly do not recommend this, there are better resources out there from people with knowledge and experience.
Lot’s of good information for beginners and some helpful tips on cleaning products. Wether you use Lye or do Melt And Pour, there’s plenty easy natural diy recipes. A lot of this you could look up online but to have it all in one place to me is even better. The only thing I’d change, well I would have liked to have seen more photos of the soaps and products, although there are some. Just remember: You need to look up what you can and cannot put in soaps, such as flowers and herbs etc.
A lot of the recipes were melt and pour variety. There were also a lot of recipes that had ingredients such as liquid castille soap but did not have a recipe to make liquid castille soap.
Positives: There were a lot of recipes. There were even extra recipes.
What a wonderful soap-making book! Not only are there recipes for EVERY kind of soap - including shampoos, carpet cleaners, bath crayons, and even baby wipes - but there are a ton of great recipes for different standard bath and hand soap scents. I loved how everything was categorized by month - Valentine's scents in February, spring scents in April...it made it very fun to read!
But more importantly, the instructions were simple but clear enough to give you everything you new for soap-making. I've read a lot of how-to books and a lot of them are very confusing to follow - this one is so well-organized, it's easy to get to any recipe or instructions you need. Highly recommended!
